basically mr mousy betrays silver but then gets his ass handed to him when silver decapitates a few of his guards ~ section 1 attacks to take back the info that was given to silver but heads into a straight clash with hans who protects Mione because it is his mission ~

darth alice then comes to kick some ass while oland goes after goes after hans...

the preview looks more exciting with oland getting flamed ~

...we'll get more Alice vs Claymore next ep and Orland vs Hans...but yeah, I didn't like the look of that preview at all. I don't think Orland's fireproof.

Anti-Tank/Armour versus Anti-Fortification/Infantry!

Mind you those section ichi blokes were a joke....

Can't even challenge Mach, or do anything right.

I mean they run into a fight with a AFV, and armed only with pistols....

then proceed to walk up and "talk" to the bloke standing with the accused who looks armed as well.

how stupid can you get?
that bloke deserved to be burnt.
when they discover the big bloke is bulletproof, what do they do?

oh, lets pull back our AFV who has a big anti-armour cannon on it, and people and let him wonder around BBQ-ing everyone!

oh, and there is a woman from another section, here and is now challenging us hand-to-hand, lets put all our pistols away, and try to hurt her with our farming tools then arrest her/kill her.

mach in this eps proved himself well training as the top class of the academy, very nice crash landing

seriously I have HIGH expectation for this eps but it was quite a lack luster eps with very minimal action and a lot more talking :/. only alice and her dual blade lance saves the eps from a completed diaster .

Agree with the fact that section 1 are a bunch of idiots. Too bad Hans didnt bbq them all. Preview for the next ep looks kickass ... And yes i believe that Orland is fireproof

You shouldn't call everyone a "bloke", my British friend. ^^
Confused me for a bit who you were actually refering to.
But I concur. Military in PS doesn't seem to be too smart. People shooting pistols don't even have a useful stance to shoot from and I just watched Venus vs Virus and saw one of the girls going into Weaver-stance to actually hit something.
The only thing that seems to have slipped you by is that about them engaging Alice with those bludgeons/axes or whatever they were.
They had to wait for permission to actually fire/kill her, although I would reckon that one swipe from those "farming tools" (actually looked rather dumb) would be enough to do her in. Didn't really expect them to have to get permission for that.
And they could have wallopped Hans with the cannons of their vehicles, those guys seem to be mechanized infantry after all!
Man, that fearsome SecI troop seems to have the same right for self defense as Blue Helmets. -_-

That Section I stuff was simply ridicilous, seems I'm not the only one who thought so...

They let the most important character get away, he even walked at a leisurely pace!
Then they are too stupid to notice Hans is holding a weapon; they might not know about flamethrowers but it looks pretty suspicious.
And then they proceed to try out his armor with their pop guns, instead of calling in the tank. Did they use that thing for ramming purposes only, and forgot to bring the ammo?
To top it off, they forget they have guns and try to fight Alice with their whatevers. Even if they don't have permission to eliminate her, they could just shoot her in the leg rather than letting her slash around.

Bad, bad writing. Seriously lacking credibility here.

--> That's a good episode. That guy in the mask's too skilled for rabbit face's bodyguards. What kind of weapon did he use anyway? All I see was a blade with wires. Anyway, Alice is in her Darth Maul weapon is pretty awesome to see. Makes you wonder, how on earth does a small body of hers able to wield that thing? Oh! and Kauplan woman is creepy when she said she needed samples. But hey, evil scientists all look creepy

--> Next ep. 901 ATT vs. 908 HTT. If Oland can tolerate bullets and shells from a tank during his Anti Tank Trooper mode, I wonder how will he fare up with a hot fire?

About the serious lapse in judgement for the Section 1 crew. I think there is a big difference between slaughtering a horde of nameless peons and doing bodily harm to a ranking officer in their own army. It's going to be difficult to explain a dead Lt. on a mission to the same place, better to attempt to incapacitate the girl.

Another thought would be how underestimated S3 has always been. Sure there's the joke unit stigma, but when you have a walking tank stopper, a Casanova hitting the S1 secretary every night , a genius loli magnet and a dog taking bits off officer's heads, you would have to give some measure of respect to them.

Otherwise, there's going to be that "Oh! SH..." moment when facing Darth Alice and her Reckoning.

Action pops up again this week.

Mione is a plain wuss rat who only can be taught for discipline through use of force, as Silver Mask chastised the rat man's underdogs for lack of proper manners.

I find it curious that Silver Mask not made any violent movements with his hands once he swung the kunai blades in an open arc to hit within a single, flash strike all of the thugs in a circumference.

The manner how he killed those guys in quick succession reminds me the murdering style seen in anime that features samurai or other sword-wielder characters.

Take for example Rurouni Kenshin or Samurai Champloo.

Now I watched with my own eyes what you meant with Darth Alice.

I'm just slightly dissapointed that we do not got to see more Darth Alice action. Either that or Alice swung the double-edged pole-arm with slow motion, because she's holding back her power on the soldiers.

Have to wait for next week.

If Section I- Claymore One is just a division of hardened guys covered in armor and helmet, whose only skills resort to the use of weapons and lightning offensives lacking technique and finesse, then I do agree with the rest of you that they are just a bunch of pimps and small shrimps that they would not be a match for Alice.

But take into thought that Alice's body possess not enough durability and stamina to wield that thing for a long hour. Therefore, it would be better if she can neutralize as many Claymore pimps as possible before her breath runs out.

Good cliffhanger to conclude the episode.

I should had seen it coming. Kaupland did not treat Oland for a medical check-up. She has been a mysterious character that's up to something big, and suddenly in the previous episode she shows up to Oland as a regular cast member, appearing matter-of-factly.

She brought samples taken from Oland and would likely extract the genetic material to insert them into her test subject.
Remember episode four. Kaupland was at her lab and was running tests on someone, covered all in a white blanket.

Who is Kaupland's test subject? He must have 900's designation number much like Hans and Oland, but it is not revealed yet.

What happened to the 900:2-7 subjects?

but there is a reason why they arent allowed to shoot alice...its cause they havent got the order to do so yet still alice seem to kick ass without even trying O.o problem is that when she tires...hell is gona break loose on her >.<

You guys can say what you will, but this way far and away the best ep of the series to date, IMO. I mean, it actually had an incredible amount of tension and drama, which has been missing from all episodes up til now. Makes me glad I stuck with this show.

I do agree that there could have been a little more action, and it did progress quite slowly, but it was building towards the next ep and there was actually atmosphere in this ep that had been missing from a lot of the show up til now. And the plot got interesting too. I think this ep was a sign that there's about to be a massive improvement in everything in this show. Fingers crossed that that's true.
