A glimpse at the Fight Lab mode

Hilarious but I like the idea as Harada said, this is a minigame series that train us the basics.

On the other hand, it seems that the graphics in the console version will be close to the arcade version or at least better than Tekken 6

There are rumors about the remaining empty character slots to be revealed in July.

Tiger is so highly unlikely. We already have Eddy and Christie, we don't need another Capoeira character.

we already know Jaycee is Julia.
I've mentioned this before, Jaycee has Julia's T6 command + some new wrestling moves. Plus, you could remove Jaycee's mask through customization.


I'm placing my bet on Forest Law, Miharu, Alex, Violet and Tougou (Lars' friend from T6 scenario Campaign)

there would probably be another empty slot, For Combot.
From the given image by Ryonea, there were 7 missing slots excluding Ogre and Michelle which makes it 5. Now, the left side had a slot one too many. So, to make the slots even, I think Combot will be added there. But it's just a thought

^ Very unlikely IMO, given how the new characters have original moves. Even if they will be added, they won't fill the empty slots IMO and just be palette swaps. Violet should be a mere palette swap or just appear in the fight lab. Gon was about the license, and Harad has repeatedly said that on his twitter

Ah, yes.. Unknown. I think she would be playable, since she was playable in the previous game. And pretty much all of the bosses are playable now except Azazel. Although it's weird if she's made into a DLC character IMO should be unlockable or something.

I think Unknown was only made playable on the HD version only. IIRC on my PS2 days, I didn't get the chance to use Unknown on TTT

and on the HD version, everyone's unlocked already.

oh well, guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to get more character confirmations

No no, Unknown was definitely unlockable in the original TTT.

The current Unknown is not worth it. She basically is Jun + some high damage boss class moves that would be unfair in regular vs competition, and if they take out her boss moves, she becomes Jun and we already have Jun. To make her playable, they would need to change her completely, and personally I think that if they were planning on doing that, it would have been one of the first things they showed.

Gon isn't going to be in the game, Harada already said that they aren't going to acquire his license this time around.

Personally, I feel that most of the upcoming characters are going to be guys that we haven't seen before. I would like another Jack, mainly because from the classic teams that people played in the old TTT, Jack + Jack is the only one missing.

Well Jinpachi is a Mishima Shoto with a teleport and projectile and look at him now his there as a playable character.

They'll probably tone down the cheaper moveset of the playable Unknown.

IIRC, his movesets back in T5DR was very limited (he was playable in the PS3 version, and also PSP but by using cheats and CFW), so all they need is to give him more usable moves. Besides, his fighting style isn't similar to anyone.

You have a point. Giving her new moves would be nice. I don't think the boss class moves would be that usable in a player vs player match, since the speed is very slow, right?
One thing for sure, we don't need her to be another Mokujin with the free style switching on the fly

If they're going to add another Jack, I think it should be P. Jack. Back in the first TTT, I'm surprised about what's the point of having both Jack-2 and Gun Jack since they're the same thing

Hmm, now that makes me think that by July, maybe we'll see some other pre-order options with 2 to-be-revealed DLC characters.

that way, by the time the remaining characters are revealed, there might be new preorder bonuses that will include those characters too.

Well, seeing how there's no big game store over here (and that means no preorder bonuses), I think all I can do is just wait for them to be released freely later

Remember Harada wants the first day buy where they can bank on the $60 and $100+
special editions. That is what they want so get it now day 1 get the DLC free.

Well, the "we are Tekken" edition hasn't been revealed for the US nor Japan, and that's probably the easiest way to announce unexpected freebies for the consumers to buy.

I wonder just what can they else include besides characters, the european one seems pretty cool, but it doesn't have everyone.

Pretty much my own case. I rather think of this as, this purchase is going to get TTT2 arcade in my home. TTT2 console is going to arrive a few months later

Glad I bought the Tekken tag HD with the movie! No need to DLC the school girl costumes and movie devil forms of Jin and Kaz.

Shin is in the game?! WTF?! I still can't get over the one hit KO back breaker Heihachi did to him. A pretty pathetic addition in my case.

Wonder if Forest will play exactly like Martial Law? Also at 2:05 damn if that is Forest Law's ending looks like another stupid comedy ending, much like the Mishima family meal.... XD

Also there is now a clothing ripping here on Tekken?! O_O 2:18 Lilly gets her clothes ripped off by Combot.

Now instead of cutomizing your own character giving moveset, they made combot. Aww...I wanted to make my own character.

Glad to see even Miharu is given a break here to be in Tekken.
