How old is the series? I know its not too old but when did it first start?

October of 2002 (i belive)
i think that it started around the same time Gundam SEED started...i remeber waiting for both series to come out.

the whole season thing confuses me, 1-13 is season 1? if thats how you look at it,
there are 73 eps...for about a year and a half now.

There aren't different seasons in Naruto, like in most anime series actually.
The series continues regularly until it stops.

actually like hunter said there are no seasons but if you were to break it into sagas or somehting of that you would get the gennin thing, zabuza, chuunin exam, war so thats four if you can really count the gennin exam as an arc the manga i believe started in 1999 correct me if im wrong and the anime 2002

Question: How old is Naruto in the serie??

AND!!!! how old are Sasuke and Sakura??

They CAN'T be evenly old, cuz only Naruto did 3 years of the acadamy school...

Or am i thinking in a wrong way??

Actually Uchiha or Uchiwa can be both right, it's just a matter of 'romanjization'.

(As a particle) ha/wa get mixed up regularly, especially in romanization, but this particular ha is quite clear.

While it's an understandable mistake (along the lines of there/their and four/fore), it's still a mistake.

As for Naruto being the same age and failing the exam 3 times, either

• As an orphan, Naruto began schooling earlier than everyone else
• The exam can be taken as many times as you want until you get it right

maybe both, maybe neither. This series probably wasn't meant to be discussed at the depth we're (this forum) talking at.

I don't remember how his name is writen in japanese (and anyway Ha/Wa are writen the same as well as the pronunciation) just that the symbol of his clan was the Uchiwa.
