Hi I'm itching for watching some new mecha anime. I've seen most Gundam, Macross, Broken Blade, and other relatively unknown mecha anime since before. Anyhow it is quite hard to find quality mecha anime to see I think. Broken Blade didn't live up to my expectation. So I didn't bother to finish it.

Can anyone recommend me some good mecha anime? Preferable some that is not so old.

Full Metal panic?

Iron leaguer is good but its not fully subbed
It's from 1995 but the dvd rips are the source material for the fansubs so it's easy on the eyes

Majestic Prince l- best mecha of recent years, hands down.

Argento Soma - It has somehow low budgets, but unlike any other evangelion clones instead of trying screw your head present decent story, good antiheroic MC and strong feeling of humanism.

Immortal Grand Prix race with mechas.

Escaflowne - one of classics, beside of Macrosses and Gundams.

PS: can I ask, what is your issue with Break Blade?
