Got this off a share from one of my facebook friends. Site was just launched.

Just read the author's note, seems likes its only based loosely on the xianxia genre.

Interesting beginning, very detailed description.
Also since the author is writing this in English it is easier to understand. There is even a compendium for the novel.

Author is promising a chapter everyday after 23rd aug.

Ok time to summarize

Spoiler for summary:

First 2 chapter about MC before he reborns. Very detailed. Not much dialogue
Chapter 3 onwards he gets reborn, MC shows great strenght at 7 months. Has a girl cousin no romance. Meets new people because apparently has op ki talent. Nothing else known on his op talent. Given some stuff, gets invited somewhere.

So far the beginning chapters have little dialogues, but gives detailed information.
Dialogues increases in later chapters.

Some very original ideas. Especially the world, still cannot imagine how ginormous it is. Also MC born on a colony in another planet ... I think the sun rotates around the main world and the colony is part of the sun's solar system. There are many suns (think it was in Chapter 2)

Besides MC op talent and very strong, not op strong something about his strenght growing slowly.

Well that's about it now, waiting for chapter 11 tomorrow

Chpt 11, MC reaches the artisan city, meets with menon and a captain.
as usual there are detailed backdrops on the city, which later follows by some test done.
test were amazing with menon ending the chapter with a question

chpt 12
follows up on the questions and persuasion from menon for MC to train in their city.
MC was very reluctant, so eventually menon agreed to speak to MC's parents.
Parents were not very agreeable at first, but accepted when menon kind of trolled them into it.
MC has no choice, but he got menon to agree to looking for his cousin and his parents to visit frequently

EDIT 2: Also, why is it the speech in the story feels... off? It reads as if they're translated (I even triple checked to make sure there's not a Chinese original somewhere) and there are intentional usage of 'will' and 'have' even though a simple sentence will suffice. Unless I'm mistaken English is your native language right?

Yes English is my native language. Grew up schooling in it and all I ever use now is that (besides talking to my wife). In addition to this, Chinese (Cantonese) is my mother tongue and my wife is from China (I am from elsewhere). **(I know I am awesome like this :P )

For the speech, I was trying to add a little traditional Chinese flavor to it earlier on (influenced by watching too many periodic drama in China), as it progresses you will notice that Character speech will not have this flavor, however it still remains for the parents.

Individuals will have some special traits/attitude in their speech when they first interact with the MC, but changes over time as they get closer to each other. A duplicate of real life, where I won't really be an idiot in front of a girl, till we get to know each other, then I can be an idiot all I want (mahahahaha)

As for the 'will' and 'have', in fact I did not even realize it. Another silly bad habit of mine. Lets see if I can edit them out. I have about 90+ unedited, no proof reading, un-rewritten chapters to browse.

For 15 today it is currently being edited, proofread, rewritten and I will check for the 'will' and 'have'

Oh and you can never find this anywhere no where nadah zilch ZeRo etc etc :P <--- except for where I post them since they are original ... say what? Yeah oh are eye gee eye end aye al


Oh I almost forgot, plenty of thanks for the comments, makes it better to know what to improve on

Can you please write annotations with metric system? It's a pain in the ass to always go search for calculator while reading.

Hi ndiezel,

I apologize for this,

1 league is about 5.56 km or 3.46 miles

1 feet is 0.33 meters

1 catty (China) is 0.5kg or 1.1 pounds

Most of the distances I use in my story is not exact. So I hope you can round them off to the nearest whole number when you read.

I sincerely hope you understand, as I would need to change all remaining 90+ chapters I have not proofread, edited and re-written to the metric system. This will amount to a high figure to edit.

I used this system based on traditional Chinese novels who use Li, which means leagues, Che which means feet, and Jin which means catty.

Thank you for your feedback, once again I apologize I won't be able to do so.

Xiaoxia started gathering his Ki and directed them to his left fist and pushed out. He was trying to control it, but all his Ki just surged out and lashed towards where his punched.

“Boom!” the training dummy 10 feet in front of him turned to smithereens.

“Again!” another dummy appeared where the previous one was.

“Boom!” the same result occurred, and yet another dummy reappeared.

“Change to your right fist, again!”

“Boom!”

The practice started since morning, after Instructor Wei narrowly avoided sustaining serious injury. She showed Xiaoxia a few techniques and taught him some theories, they were to control the flow of Ki that was released.

“Change to your left index finger, go!” Instructor Wei ordered.

“Piak!” this time the dummy remained intact and swiveled around its base, rotating a few times before stopping. An indentation the size of a fist could be seen on its right upper torso.

Immediately the dummies all had holes right through their midsection, the holes were charred with flames licking through them.

Now the figure swung with its left hand gathered into a fist. Tendrils of bright scarlet energy, which looked like flames converge around the fist as it punched, and blasted out.

“Boom! Wham! Wham! Wham!”

A sonic boom could be heard when it was release, then a visible blast wave appeared each time a group of dummies were disintegrated one after another in quick succession. Each group had more than 20 dummies arranged behind the other group.

Suddenly the figure vanished, appearing on the other end of the room. At this moment, it did a downward slash with its left feet from top to bottom.

Bright white energy gathered around its feet as it swept downwards.

“Whooosh! Schhhlarrk! BA DA BOOM”

Thank you for the post, I can give a hint or two, but anything else will be jeopardizing my manuscript, since 90+ chapters are still to be rewritten, proofread and edited.

The story is not set in stone yet, but already has a general form.

Answers for the two questions:-

1. Chapter 17 does give a measure of potential to the MC's chances of being OP.
2. Chapter 16 there is something along the lines, its vague but there. He is still 7, but they grow fast in novels


With regards to the p.s.

There was a sharp bang on the wall at the other end of the room, he had completely missed the target.

“Huh?” Xiaoxia was confused, seeing the dummy standing now a little to the right from its original spot.
