heh. I think this is that one type of thing you'd have your own interpretations, and thus different opinions.

I kinda agree with this.
Personally, I interpret Alice as willing to do anything for Kirito though only from her behaviour.
However, I cant really justify what I just said as Alice didn't say anything about that. Plus, its just my own interpretation.

Opinions, opinions

In an interview Kawahara gave recently about the movie he said:
"Because even I am not sure what the situation of the series' world will be after the ≪Alicization≫ arc…… (laughs)"

So is this entire series over? Are kirito and asuna still together?

ANN - Sword Art Online Character Poll Results Announced
The novels' artist abec will draw the winners for an upcoming art book cover. Staff adjusted the poll after acknowledging that fraudulent voting must have taken place to get Kibaō in the #1 spot. He dropped down to #17 while the Sword Art Online version of Asuna regained her rightful place at the top. Voting continued until Saturday and Dengeki Bunko published the final winners. While Kibaō didn't recover his position, the joke served as legitimate advertising and he managed to make it #8, almost landing himself on the cover.

The ranking of #8 is most likely due to 2ch people still trying to vote him up after the reset with some less aggressive way.

Kinda sad Alice almost made it (was around #3 and #5 when I checked earlier back then). We need more of Alice art. Im glad Eugeo made it though.

Would be interesting if Kibaou made it to the top again. It'll piss off everyone

It probably wasn't just Kibaou. They did something about his votes because he went to #1. Look at the comment by GrayArchon here. Slug Researchers A&B #12 out of 30.

Honestly, it may be a longer wait. Now that we've 'caught up' with Japan on Progressive, it would make sense to me to mirror the Japanese schedule, which means once per year.

It would not surprise me to see the SAO:P novel 4 in October 2016. Particularly since Yen's translator also does the regular SAO novels *and* Durarara!! *and* the various manga he translates (which includes all the SAO manga.)

True. It may also be a blessing. It gives the translator some breathing room and for we, consumers with our wallets.

SAO Vol 17 is confirmed for April release and the title is Alicization Awakening. Here's the synopsis:
《光の巫女》アリス。《闇の軍勢》すべてを犠牲にしてでも、我が手中に収める──。
ベクタの策略で、現実世界のプレイヤーたちがついにアンダーワールドに到達し・・・!

Some answers from Kawahara; probably relevant given that those topics are often discussed here.

So, True Love for Kirito and Asuna while Alice isn't even actually romantically interested in Kirito.

Hopefully people can stop asking about the status of their relationship anymore since its answered tonnes of time already

Though I prefer Alice to still compete with Asuna. I like such competitions
Plus sensei himself said theres some secret emotion in Alice for Kirito...something suspicious eh?

Well, 3% is not a lot no?

Makes me wonder if this can be considered a change from the WN or if he always intended it this way for Alice.

I wonder how long more there is until we reach post-Alicization of the SAO series... Does anyone know how exactly the progressive novel is going to be completed? 100 damn floors, and where are we right now? Still a long way to go...
