On the subject of "Alien 3"

Inconsistent Hollywood writing in action:

Have your heroine claim she is an atheist, and yet have her lovingly close the eyes of the little girl she failed to save and tearfully whispering "forgive me" to her corpse as if she believed she has a soul; to say nothing of being moved to tears by the head prisoner's eulogistic poem that wished said little girl's soul peace and happiness in Heaven as her body is cremated.

But then again, consistency and "Alien 3" are mutually exclusive terms, after all.
