I think if Kurumu's hair was not covering the neck the it would approximate what we see.

again it is how you view it, Kurumu in that picture is wearing a collared shirt. imagine the collar gone and the neck would be very long.

I have noticed it as well in some of the Moka artwork, mainly coloured pages true but in the manga as well.

Thinking about re-writing 'Lady of the Mist' for a slightly different approach to it. I can't do nothing with it as it is, or rather, anything that I *like*.

I was originally thinking of doing something along the lines of Kizumonogatari's Shinobu n Koyomi...but it didn't work out. Maybe this time it will :3

Ooh, I read that one. It was the Akasha/Tsukune oneshot iirc, right? I liked it.

Speaking of fanfics, just want to plug that chapter 3 of my own Distorted Fairy Tale is up at FF.net far sooner than I'd expected, heh.

Well, in my case the only complaint I have about the cover for the 9 volume is that Kurumu's neck is a little too long, which causes her to look a little wired.

On another topic, what do you think chapter 42 is going to be about, since in my opinion, while there is most likely going to be something mentioned about Tsukune's condition and what is he still going to need to learn, before the raid on Fairy Tale's HQ, but I think that this won't be what the next chapter is going to be mostly about, and since Kurumu's heart troubles have been resolved (for now), I don't think it's likely that Ikeda would prolong that.

In my opinion, what the next chapter is going to be about is Akua's "preparations", before her fight with Tsukune, in other words showing us what is currently happening to Moka, while Tsukune is training to rescue her.

After all, Akua still doesn't know anything about Tsukune's relationship with Moka, and for now thinks of him, as nothing else but one of Moka's friends , which could cause her to underestimate him, and that could be used to Tsukune's advantage t o easily win the fight against Akua and after such a huge build up to the fight between Akua and Tsukune, I think an outcome like that would be pretty anticlimactic, which is the reason why I think that Akua is going to learn something about Tsukkune's relationship with Moka, and the only source of that information is going to be Outer Moka, who is going to either going to accidentally spill something about her relationship with Tsukune (the reveal is most likely going to occur because of the blood connection that Moka and Tsukune have established due to Moka's blood transfusions).

With the next release only a few days away, I ain't daring to make any guesses. But, I would assume we'll see something brief with Tsukune and his current prowess, but majority of chapter will focus on Akua and Moka

... and the long shot guess is that Mikogami, at the Academy, is going "Fuhai, you're playing things into my hands very well..."

(the Headmaster may be a good guy, but he sure is one hell of a manipulator when it comes to tsukune)
