I don't foresee China taking over the USA's position any time soon - not without some major changes.

My first question would be ''How and why a ex FBI agent would know such thing?'' . We aren't talking about a ex CIA , NSA or Special Force than would be more likely to be related to such work.

Hence the reason why I advise to turn up the BS meter. Also, it could be a "familiarisation programme" run by the Quds that got busted....they are learnimg how to pass off as Americans so they can infiltrate foreign US bases, especially those in the Gulf.

China isn't near to declare war on a country. No one likes to make war, honestly, especially between great countries. As long as China is doing great economically, it wouldn't try to invade any country. Though surely, it doesn't really appreciate the submarines lurking around its country. In Syria's case, China won't let any leader to step down like that, so that it wouldn't influence the Chinese people to make the Communist party step down.

A turnaround in the Iraq-Syria gun smuggling trade:
"The rifles are first taken apart and hidden in cigarette cartons and kerosene tanks. Younis Al Lehaibi and his sons then put them in their lorries and head out to Iraq's vast, dusty border with Syria. Their objective: to smuggle weapons to Syrian rebels who seek the overthrow of President Bashar Al Assad. It is a turnaround from the height of the Iraqi war six years ago, when weapons and fighters would cross from Syria to aid fellow Sunnis in Iraq." See: http://www.thenational.ae/news/world...muggling-trade ================================================== ====================================== Officials: US drones monitoring clashes in Syria: ""A good number" of unmanned U.S. military and intelligence drones are operating in the skies over Syria, monitoring the Syrian military's attacks against opposition forces and innocent civilians alike, U.S. defense officials tell NBC News' Jim Miklaszewski."
