I like that Rick has finally wised up and realized it is a cold world. Dale may have morals, but that does not last long in the new world.

I don't think he had a chance to. Although he was shooting at the guys in the flipped over car, he was winged early on in the shootout and was on the ground while the other LEOs brought the first two down.

I hated Lori in the comics, and I hate her on the show. I really hope the develop Carl, as the author has in the comics. He is my favorite character in them. He has become the most level headed and logical of everyone.

I just watched episode 1 of season 2. I love this show, but you have to admit that these people are freaking genre-ignorant. Why doesn't anybody use the goddamn buddy system? And the kids are left to wander alone? With no adult supervision? I swear to God they're all idiots. I should probably make concessions to their through-the-roof stress levels, but there's a limit to the amount of acceptable stupidity.

I still have not figured out why they are staying along the East Coast. I mean, there are tens of millions of infected along the coast that will eventually start to wander. They need to take the Philly guy's advice and head to the middle. Fewer people, longer period of time before the large herds. From there they could head to the Rockies(Very difficult for shamblers to navigate) or north into Canada. Avoid the Great lake region and get into the NWT, Yukon, or Nunavut. Almost negligible people there.

Or ANYTHING other than stay in the ocean states where all the walkers are.

People have been walking longer distances for 100,000 years. Instead of moping around on a farm where supplies will dwindle, they need to be moving.

And yes, I get the boring thing. The most logical and safest plans are boring for TV, lol.

They attempted to dump him at some (apparently) minimal security prison. However, that didn't work out so well. He stated that he knew Maggie (Glenn's girl) but that Maggie most likely didn't know him. They apparently went to school together. My feeling is that he will somehow create some tension between Maggie and Glenn. Rick and Shane finally had the talk (and the fight) so I guess we'll see how Shane does after some clear boundaries are set. Some good zed action this episode, including the zed pile on Rick. Randall seems to be pretty resourceful. At least we didn't have to see Hershel and his weird eyes again. Zed kill of the week: wheel to the head.
