I think the party itself happens on shore: close inspection of this screenshot finds a superstructure in the background, with what appears to be an anchor on the structure's side. This would probably be the carrier itself, which would make the hydraulic lift in the celebration venue even more impressive. I found that the last of the OVAs to be an appropriate close to the series for the present, being a well-earned evening for the girls to kick back and relax a little. The next we hear of Girls und Panzer will probably be the Anzio battle
