Looks like Godtsuya gonna recycle his school entrance kickass showdown with Hattori with the new kid. Still enjoy Mahouka alot due to extreme details in world-building.

i didn't really like the whole US STars stuff, hoping it stays with the school a bit more this season.

Not sure about that, Shippou seems much too focused on the Saegusas for that so unless Tatsuya steps in between himself, he will more likely clash with the twins. He might think Tatsuya is inferior, but he has no grudge against him and it would be a large leap of logic for him to confront Tatsuya after finding out about his fighting power since the lack of it is the whole reason he despises Tatsuya.

Yeah, Mahouka is one of my favorite series because of how detailed the whole magic system is. There are better and worse arcs, but the magic all makes sense in the magic system. There is no "say this word and for whatever reason something magic happens" or "friendship power". The magic system is treated the same way as gravity or other physical rules.

By the way, it's a bit pitty that the thread is in the sub-forum since it seems most people missed it. Or Mahouka is way less popular than I thought it is (I don't expect it to be #1 anime of the season, but also not so deserted).
