Felt good to hear some of the old fight music again.

It was alright, it's still fun to see team 7. But the revenge thing was just crappy.

How many weeks of fillers do we seriously need until we can skip to the main story ... Are we gonna see the real story within this year or can I expect like 12 episodes of fillers atleast ?

My guess would be 12 episodes.

I actually am worried that it will last till the new year.
Even though the manga is sooo far ahead i really wonder why they are doing this.

Like Yukmouth said... i am starting to hate (anime) Naruto. Normally i can be calm because of High School of Death... but since that hasn't appeared for some time now... i have to aim my frustrations again on Naruto... ofcourse.

They're doing this because once the next canon arc is over, we will still get another 6 months of filler. Because the manga is not that far ahead at all.
They can go through the entire next arc within 15 episodes. And then they will have reached the same arc the manga is in right now.

Considering the new opening song doesn't display any scene from the next arc I wouldn't be surprised if this was the beginning of an entire filler flashback arc.

That would mean six months of filler. A whole season. At the same time the anime has been mixing some canon with filler. I do expect them to have canon soon before we head back to filler.

Japan wouldn't. And that's the only opinion that matters. It's already been proven by the ratings that the Japanese watch the filler. There was no real ratings drop when Naruto went to filler after Part 1. The Shippuden filler had no real ratings drop. As long as Naruto is on every week, they tune in.

Are you serious?? Anyway... i still have to disagree... the manga is ALOT further then you'd think. Besides....they could just create random mission episodes from side characters, or ninja's from the sand.

A ninja kills... so far i havent seen any assasination missions. From our main or side characters. I don't count the Akatsuki hunt.

The number one rule of filler is that it must have Naruto in it, so no.
