Actually am pretty serious about Nanoha not motherly type.It doesn't really suit her to be committed for a family like situation (belong to the sky/adventure like Yuuno said)

And I think Signum would do her best to avoid her

I think Vita would blew her top in a very short time depending on the girl behaviour , hopefully her experience with the elderly would help.

Probably, all the relationship/background story would be covered in the SS/Manga or they wont have enough time to cover the main plot and action (the battle in SS1 just not as exciting without visual)

Why is she clingy? Who knows? Maybe Nanoha threatened her or something along the line. That is why the girl was so scared in case she messed up something.
