Just few minutes ago Ako was winning but now after the false votes were gone, Nodoka won. Now Nodoka is also another character that reached the top 8 for the 3rd time like Louise.
I think Shana will reach the top 8 for the 3rd time as well. I just hope so because this is her final year which is the same for Louise, and we'll have 6 Saki + 2 TsundeRie which is interesting. |

Nodoka isn't that easy to knock off and it seems she's not ready to pass the torch to the new generation. It's a close match but Ako comes up short. Nodoka becomes the 6th Saki character to make the Top 8.
To close off the Block finals, we've got one of those rare non-Saki days. This might even be the last one. Both Shana and Sena have had close calls in the past against characters outside the top tier. Just last round, Shana was just a hair away from being taken down by Airi. Sena's thrid round match was actually the one she looked good in. Prior to that, she had trouble with Amaha Miu and Elsie. Overall, Shana has been able to attract more votes than Sena but not by too much. I'm not too sure who to go with but I'll try siding with Shana. Vote: Shana Prediction: Shana

Nice come-from-behind victory for Nodoka. Saki would be proud, I'm sure.
I'm hoping Shana wins today, as it would almost guarantee the winner of J-SaiMoe 2012 being someone that I really like. Beyond that, 6 Sakis vs. 2 KugRies might make a somewhat interesting Quarterfinals round at least.

Old school defeats new class, eh. Or should I say Ako choked against her old friend. Perhaps the powers-that-be (not the tournament admins, mind you) are imagining the possibility of a Saki vs Nodoka match somewhere along the way. Not that many people outside of the Saki faction would care, though.
My pick for today's match would be Sena Kashiwazaki as my last surviving favorite. Of course I'd prefer Sena winning, but if she doesn't make it, I think I can still rally around Shana's banner after this match as one of the last resistance survivors.

Picks: 0-1 (0-7, 79-72)
Predictions: 0-1 (3-4, 108-43) I'd love to get at least one char I like in. Please? On top of that, the two Saki chars I don't like the most (Saki and Nodoka) are in. They're really trying to make me not care anymore, aren't they? Pick: Sena Predictions: Sena Probably not. Oh well.
