haha, you're not the only one doing redos.. I've been taking apart most of my earlier built kits which were done without paint or just gundam markers. I've more gundams in pieces than on display now. haha

btw I'm thinking of doing a custom colour scheme for the 00 Ahead Gundam. Any suggestions?

nice^^ thats what i like about the MG red frame, it comes with both katanas. its a shame that the PG only had two during its initial release... but i can live with that^^

no not really :P i wanted to keep it inexpensive (like a 900 yen HG or something like that) but then i saw this eva model again...
but for what it does it seems to be a good price! :O its about 5cm taller than a standard size MG and comes with a buttload of extra stuff!

Hey guys, quick question: I've assembled an arm of the MG Freedom, but the shoulder won't stay where it's supposed to. There's a gap between that plate of the shoulder and the arm. Is this right, or should I push the arm in further? I'm afraid to break it :S

MG arms usually need a little push to fully snap into the shoulder socket^^ dont worry, as long as everything is aligned properly nothing can break.
id build both arms though, that way you can push from both sides at the same time, makes the whole thing easier.

Thanks man! Yeah, doing both simultaneously would be best, but I'm doing small steps inbetween learning. But your Freedom (I keep finding the need to use a capital letter when typing it :P) has no problems with the shoulders? It's actually a pretty small gap, but just enough to allow the shoulder to pop off of that thicker part of the "rod"

Just checked, it can't go in any further, I'll just have to be careful...

mine didnt make any problems at all:

just put on the shoulder and make sure that the whole snaps in place on the wider part of the peg. then put the arm on. it should fit very well!

Speaking of Freedom...(from Hayamimi)

I wonder it Bandai would upscale this RG to 1/100 scale in the future. MG 3.0 perhaps?

You may want to try SDs. They're cute and cheap. The recent SDs are amazing though, some of them got feature(s) that even the MG don't have. For example SD Wing Zero (ver. KA or EW, whatever you call it) can detach its wings and use it as a big sword ^_^.
