oh man, i don't have a clue about the translation, but that chapter really left me flabbergasted... now that was quite the unforeseeable twist

Mistgun is basically Kami from DBZ or something... good half that was thrown away when Gerald went all evil with dark magic. Only Mistgun actually has serious hang ups about the whole thing and a mired of personal issues... from someone above, he supposedly insists that he is not gerald... grant it this could also mean that he is a twin brother, but frankly i think i prefer the kami thing to that ( i mean, if he was just a twin, the matching hair and tatoo would be a bit much)... grant it, i would probably perfer it if Mistgun took more pains to seperate himself from gerald; such as altering or removing the tatoo and having a different hair style.


though i gotta say... so much worry about the mistgun VS Luxus fight, and this was quite the surprising way to end their fight without Luxus being horribly crippled and without mistgun actually being beaten.

Damn...what a lame way to end a great fight. I suspected that they would find some stupid way of getting Mist Gun out of the picture so that Natsu/Erza could hog all the glory as always, but still it was disappointing.

And what is with the Mist Gun/Gerard connection? Seriously, why are we getting back to Gerard? Just leave the guy to rest in peace already! He was a good first serious boss, but it's time to start dealing with bigger fish.

In any case, I'm really disappointed with Mist Gun's real identity, whether he is Gerard's clone, twin brother or whatever.

Or Luxus running away (whatever the situation), gives his gramp a check, figures out he's dying, and quietly disappears.

Or we are all tricked by Mashima. Gramp is still alive and kicking.

just read 120. what the hell was all that about. putting mistgun/gerard thing aside, why di he leave. he looked like he was in equal par or maybe better than lexus and he just left it to the young ones. he left in the middle of the battle. he had nearly the same damage as luxus and the fight had hardly developed. it's quite dissapointing to see mistgun leave in the middle of the battle. he did take damage but it did not look too fatel.

this is one of the dissapointing things about a main hero arrivel. everyone leaves it to him even though the can handle it.

luxux might not be able to end the fight with Natsu but, in the end it will still be seen as natsu's victory he will beat him in a definate way while luxus is still conchus and able to hear the news of his grandpa. i want to see natsu lay the smackdown on luxus but, being treated to a new character with mystery was more mouthwatering.

i guess this will be an arc to follow this one. there are choices now on what to do for the next arc, either the old man who was using Lucy's name and the betryal of Gezzal could be linked as lucy's dad was going to have his fortune taken from him by Phantom Lord. or the mystery of mist gun.

Simple really... he could not deal with Ezra being there
He's been part of the guild for, only Mashima knows, how long and took pains to hide himself from everyone else, ESPECIALLY Ezra... Ezra was the last person he wanted to find out who he was and she found out... frankly, he was not looking forward to dealing with her like that... There was no way he would be able to give Luxus his 100% undivided attention with her standing right there... not to mention that even if he did finish the fight he might wind up with no strength left to run and thus be forced to face Ezra

He was not running away from the battle or Luxus, he was running away from facing Ezra... Avoiding Ezra in that state took priority to everything else

I think Mistgun fell in love with Ezra at first sight. Unfortunately he wasn't the handsome type. So one day he used a spell to find out what kind of guy Erza liked and it was Gerrard. So he changed into Gerrard likeness and approached her. However, Ezra started attacking him so he had to run away. Unfortuantely also the spell is irreversible so he is stuck with that face. So from then now he never showed he face to anyone. :P
