My 240SX vs a WRX wagon (video)
http://flohtingpoint.net/racevids/240.wmv
This was my first night ever of drag racing. Was bored, didnt have anything to do that friday, so I fed my SR20DET some fuel and took it out to the track. This video was one of my encounters. Note: I didnt make the vid. It was made by a friend from another board. |

lol, a 1 min vid for just some 10 secs huh...what happenned at the end that you got 20 secs of nothing?
Did you make any bets? Cause if not you could've probably made some serious money and i'll give you lots of credit cause you did it at a track and didn't take it to the streets |

I dunno, I didnt make the vid =P
Thx for the credit, I never race on the streets, thats high school kids stuff. No sense placing others in danger cause I wanna see what my car can do. =) No bets were placed by me, but I'm sure up in the stands others placed them. Brand new WRX vs beat up/slow looking 240, looks like a easy win. |

Ok, here we go, time slips. WRX ----------- RT: 1.25 60': 2.67 1/8: 10.8@66.7MPH 1000: 13.9 1/4: 16.622@79.8 240SX ---------- RT: .778 60': 2.715 1/8: 10.18@75.59MPH 1000: 12.94 1/4: 15.278@95.25 My traction sucks BADLY. I'm running on stock 14 year old suspension and stock 16x6.5 wheels from a 97 240SX SE. |

the person in the WRX either don't know how to drive or weren't pushing it. Its obviously from the start. The WRX wagon (it is one since its got a hood soop but of course you can just get one and put it in, but what's the point?) is turbocharged. Just like what you found in the WRX sedan with the same HP and torque. AWD should give you better traction starting up but your SR20DET killed it easily. Good job on your side.
