Not quite.
The problem is in terms of particles. When you accelerate to such a scale then it implis your molecules can free flow between crevices in other molecular structures. Meltdowner is no different. But the energy between those electrons would still fry those free flow particles. Worst case scenario is a chunk of those free flow cells come in contact with those hyper accelerated, hyper charged electron particle waves. |

Does that ability even work? I mean becoming intangible by vibrating your molecules?
If being intangible is the main ability of that character, I think making use of Quantum Tunneling is the way to go. But this wouldn't protect you against Meltdowner, because there will be a lot of heat grilling you. |

I doubt it works in real science but sci-fi and those theoretical theories say it works.
Name: Rosette Age: 14 gender: female Alignment: "Malefic", mage mercenary troop Description: A girl with short blonde hair, blue eyes and a blood red hood. What she wears underneath the hooded cloak is a loose sleeveless shirt with slits that extend from the arm holes down to the level of her abdomen. She wears a pair of leather belts above and below her breasts and around her waist to hold up loose cloth pants. On her feet are leather boots. She's rather slender so her form is usually hidden by her loose clothing. She has scars on her stomach and on the bridge of her nose. Like most of malefic, Rosette is a twisted girl. Unlike the others she was not originally a mage. She is a rare case of a human who became a mage by accident. She is a killer, a neurotic child that found joy in killing. Altough she does not show the overt signs of a killer, the act brings her a sense of euphoria as she silently does her deed. She is not the kind of person who likes to torture people when killing. To her, she likens killing to sex. And she engages in the act only for the climax, the one single moment the life in her hands is snuffed. In fact, she's killed so many that the cloak she wore is dyed with the blood of her victims. Unlike her personality, her position in Malefic is one of protection. She is tasked with guarding the group's deepest secrets and covert operations. Though at times she is also made the courier for missions, it is ill-advised as her magic causes her to be caught up in delays or worse, lost on the way. Due to this spell she is also gullible to a fault though it is agruable that she just does not care. Though a mage, she is still proficient with firearms as her choice of weapons before learning magic properly were guns. She is also a skilled tracker and can quickly reconstruct the events within the location of a conflict. Magics: Red Hood: The first spell, her original spell unwittingly built from the story of red riding hood. As the story goes Little Red Riding Hood is an unassuming child who was sent to give her grandmother a basket of goodies. She was then accosted by the big bad wolf which led her to be lost on the path or in earlier versions, picking flowers for her grandmother. This spell in its entirety makes Rosette a none dangerous element to anyone who encounters her. To bad folk she would be an easy target, to others she is a harmless child. This lets her fly under the radar of most securities as this spell removes all suspicion on a subconscious level. It is also useful in fights as it passively lessens the wariness of her opponents, making them susceptible to surprise attacks coupled with her manner of attacks being hidden under her cloak. Savior is the Hunter: Rosette has incorporated the hunter into her magics as well. By carrying axes and cutting her stomach open with them, she can retrieve anything she ate within her stomach in pristine condition. This spell also grants her passive healing factor on the level that the wounds she inflicts on herself to activate this spell can be healed without intervention beyond first aid, but it still leaves her on the verge of death. A problem for this spell is that she can only restore something still in her stomach and not digested by the intestines. She can actually use this on others as well. Though they do not have the advantage of her regeneration to prevent this spell from being lethal. "The Better to...": This spell transforms Rosette into an artificial lycanthrope. She is decidedly deadly in this state. Increasing her overall speed and strength, the form given by this spell also brings out her wilder killing instincts. This is removed from her efficient methodical way of hunting but makes her more unpredictable. Last edited by demino_hellsin; 2013-07-17 at 12:18. |

Yesterday and today, I read 20 pages of posts in this thread. Still have like 100+ pages to go 'til I'm up to date. Anyways, just wondering if what I may state below might create a slightly-different universe, altering a bit of the arcs but nonetheless goes through the original story in the same fashion, might make a good fanfic. Those run-on sentences. ._.
• Touma, instead of having one ability, has another • His Imagine Breaker, instead of having to dispell the specified ability, but absorb the power and fire it back • And the hand the absorbed power will be coming out of will not be the right hand, but the left hand • His right arm's name won't be Imagine Breaker, but something else. The name of "it", I still haven't decided And if it looks overpowered, then help me on putting more setbacks, rather than the standard misfortunes Touma has. If this idea has been taken already, please let me know so I can keep on reading. Also, I just signed up yesterday, so I'm new at the forum scene, but at a casual level in terms of reading a fanfiction. Been reading fanfictions since last year, so yeah. |

Well, he can sort of already do this with extremely powerful attacks that surpass his negation by kind of bending them back at the enemy.
Anyways, a way to weaken it would be to lower the maximum negation speed of his hand, or make it so doing that on anything but weak stuff will kick his ass. The rest of his body doesn't have IB afterall, so if the power has to travel through his body to get to his left hand, doing it on anything not weak would damage or kill him. It doesn't really help him against his most hax enemies anyways. Accel would just bounce it back, Fiamma would laugh at it, Acqua is too fast for him to block anything, etc. Really it's only use is to piss off Biribiri or against random 3s and 4s. |

Alright, thanks to everyone who responded to my question....now for a new one.
I have come to realize that my attempt at the Mugino/Kurou fight for ACWOD is...well, a pain in the ass to do. I'd like to think it's good, hell I'd like to think I did a decent job, but I don't wanna risk pissing some people off in the next chapter because I made it seem so bleh. So would anyone be interested in giving the scene a read to see if it's just me being paranoid or if it could use a bit more touching up? |

Taking your response into consideration,(Man, why am I talking big here.) I could instead keep IB in his right arm, and switch it onto his left arm. Adding a painful setback to his "absorbing powers" will work, causing him to only use it in the most dangerous situations. Although I doubt I'll be typing down the whole series, I'll only use it when I "feel" like he does need it. Heck, I might even change the plot from using the original series' plot and make my own plot, which will require me to brainstorm potential plot ideas with maybe OCs as villians or something. Anyways, glad to have feedback on one of my many ideas. |

A new Esper ability:
Retarder - 怠業戦術 (Slowdown strategy) A specialized telecinetic power, which can only slow down objects. The user must concentrate on the thing he want to slow down. The original speed of the object will be restored once the user stops concentrating. Seeing and touching the object helps. At Level 1 the user can only slow down small things like for example the hand of a watch. At Level 2 he can slow down objects from the size of football down to 75 % of the original speed. At Level 3 it becomes possible to stop up to three bullets shot by a pistol. However, the user must prepare himself for this trick. The full potential of this ability shows at Level 4. The user can slow down the movement of your opponent to be faster than him in close quarter fight. He can slow down the transfer of electric charges in the eye nerves to blind his opponent. He can freeze objects by slowing down the molecules. Absolute deadly becomes this power by combining it with the theory of relativity: Because everything in the universe is moving relative to each other, Retarder can be used like a regular telecinetic ability by slowing down the target relative to the system it is in. Example: By slowing down a person relative to the earth rotation, the user can seemingly sent his opponent flying with a speed of up to 465.1 m/s to the west. However, it is actually the earth itself that slams into the unlucky fellow. At Level 5 it becomes possible to slow down light. However, because light is the only absolute thing according the theory of relativity, it doesn't allow the user to become faster than light and travel through time. Still, he can create bubble in that he can move faster than the human eye can see, allowing him to dodge bullets or escaping the sight of his enemies. |

Okay, I've got a new thing for someone to critic on. It's a brief intermission in the Mugino/Kurou fight. Basically a little bit of info. dumping to hammer out what Kurou's ability is to the readers....but most of you already got the jest of what he could do in the first place. Anyway, Kurou's gonna show how he get's under someone's skin in his own way...and before anyone says it, yes he's intentionally pissing her off.
I'm just looking to see if the insults here will suffice or if I need to do some altering. That and I'm curious to know if you guys think his actions here would succeed in pissing her off. Spoiler for Mugino/Kurou banter:

This popped into my mind after reading fanfics with Kuroko in it. With Touma always denying his harem( I'm jelly. :|), a crack pairing like Mikoto x Kuroko x Touma would be funny. How? Instead of Kuroko being just a lesbian, what if she was bisexual? Haha, I can already imagine her clinging onto Mikoto when Touma's around, and then onto Touma if Mikoto or her friends is gone. I won't type it though. Have no experience in those. :/ Anyways, I hope at least someone is up to write it down. xD
