Oh no you didn't Tenken... Oh no you didn't...
Spoiler for Prepare for the end of the world...:

Hmm... I think this next chapter is going to be about Raki and his zany adventures with Priscilla. Hopefully we will get a better view of how his armor works. I am imagining it telescoping like the armor in Stargate or the armor that Major Don West has in the new Lost in Space (yes I saw it and enjoyed it...). Or like the armor over the batmobile from Batman Returns when batsy hits his car lock remote.

If Raki is going to be the equivalent of Batman in Claymore, than we need someone to be the equivalent of the Joker for him to duke it out with. How about Rubel?

Rubel: Relax, it's all part of the plan.

But honestly, I think Raki may run into Raphaela during his travels. Who knows what will happen then.

Well, honestly, any claymore he's been paired up with would be holding the pants in the relationship, this includes Clare, Helen, Miria, etc., and hell, even Yuma. ... me and my weird fetishes

If Raki ever ran into one of the new generation of claymores, especially Rachel, Audrey, or Nina, I personally hope he would wipe the floor with them.

Wipe the floor, air the bed, knock the doors(bell - and - run), clean the toilet and finally hang them.

Probably likely. But I would love Raki to get a rematch with some arrogant Claymore, as a kind of plot revenge against the time when he got owned by Ophelia. Getting owned or not, Raki needs a platform to show off his new skills & I think fighting a Claymore would be the most exciting.

Do you think Raki is now able to run down a nearly vertical wall? like Teresa.

Nah I can't imagine Cid doing that, at least not running, rather falling xD
Well there is that technique, that allows u to run down a wall in order to have a save landing. Well it's not possible if that controlled falls is long, maximum are about 6 to 7 metres. But Teresa did the same for like 20 metres and she accelerated at that. xD
Well, I wanted to know if u guys think, that Raki could do the same now

well you do have a point about Cid , but i think Raki could manage especially considering how fast he can move with all that armor & a sword. Though he may need to take the armor off to do it if his still a fully regular human.

But then again he'd have the girl to worry about too so probably wouldn't do it anyway (unless he could carry the girl while doing it).

Honestly could care less about Raki, he never bothered me much in the anime or the manga...except for the last few episodes in the anime.

Raki is Hu-man
nothing suggests anything differently.
the scar that remains on his head is pretty good evidence for me that he is still human.

both Cid and Galk could land hits and block or dodge an above average Yoma, they simply lacked big swords and exprience to kill it themselves.

Hmm... We're talking about Raki. A little girl is no hindrance for him xDDD
I mean, if he can swing around that broadsword one handed (is he really only human???) then there's that small, little, light girl no problem when running down a wall xD

Sry for my double post, but I was writing my own at the same time as Vinak^^

Well, they didn't just lack experience and a big sword. Strength as well, as they had their hands completely full just blocking or dodging. They didn't even manage to parry a single attack. Parrying means not only blocking by steadying ur own blade against the opponent's, but moving it away to expose the enemy or blocking and dodging at the same time.

I don't really care what Raki has become over the 7 years he's been away (as long as he's NOT an awakened being, ANYTHING but that), but I think that Raki is probably stronger than ch. 80 lets on. Honestly, I hope Raki is still human, just a human who was put through one-of-a-kind training, and had the willpower to push pass human limits. It may not feel like something that Claymore would do, but I think that Yagi could pull it off if he did the right explaining how he got so strong. Even if he could only take down small-fry yoma, I would still like him as a character. However, it is a necessity that he be able to cook after these seven years, because he'll need to cook up the Ghost's meals if (when) he meets them.

And I agree that Raki wasn't so hot in the anime. But I like him in the manga.

Maybe he's been juicing up on steroids...I'll feel bad for Clare if this is the case.

Ooooohh, hit him where it hurts, huh?

I don't think you need to worry about that, I'm sure Clare will be very happy to have her little boy-toy back. She'll just have to handle him with care, not that he's weak, but he's still (probably) human afterall, and you know what yoma strength can do to a person.

again with the scar? an awakened being still had a scar (one of the 3 male awakened beings who were the first to attack pieta) so they mean nothing

and Raki has less experience than cid and galk so not really a typical reason im not saying his not human just its a possibility
