good episode, enjoyed this one. I'm glad they lose.. it's a learning experience, know their mistakes and fix their mistakes.

I'm happy to see Shinonome being nice to Ukita.

Yeah specially one from a more traditional sports school, the game didn't matter here but what they learned and seems were the good lessons.

Ukita is a full time catgirl it seems(the hat) and Shinomome was a nice teammate all along

glad to see that Yoshinon.. err.. I mean Ukita is improving! her hard work in practice paid off, she can catch the ball properly now.

Watched episode 7:

best episode so far. Good they did not try to drag out Kurashiki family problem into more episodes. Glad they resolved it here. Hopefully, Tsukumo also joins the next week.

also nice transition in the ending showing Tsubasa with her new team. ^^

yeah it was a good chapter, and for what the ending told, tsukumo is joining too next week maybe, with her and kurashiki that's two SSR players.

Yeah, but I feel like there's still unfinished business between her and Tsukumo. They're both so darn awkward that they couldn't get it all out.

I thought episode 6 was terrible, but episode 7 beat it by miles in the ridiculous, unnecessary melodrama department.

Yay! Glad to see this show return after three weeks away. This just happens to be the only time of year when I actually care about baseball. (My Vanderbilt Commodores go into next week's College World Series as the favorites.)

I liked the change in the OP sequence. Now all the girls head out of the locker room, instead of only Arihara. And Tsukumo is already an official team member.

When they found those plants growing, my first thought was that it was pot, which they could sell to finance their tournament trip. Can you tell I live in California?

glad to have this show back after two weeks of french open. Konata is right, sports specials are bad for anime.

laughed at the nyanko pitch. xD

Tsukumo was added to the team off-screen.

hmm, Tomochi is improving and did not expect she still trains with that girl from the other group. I wonder if Tsubasa will be jealous if she finds out?

did not expect them to add a bit of a supernatural aspect to the show. Nozaki get inspired to be a pitcher because the kind ghost help her.

hard to imagine they would add one more team member at this point, because training camp is over. So the chance of the girl with glasses at the OP joining them are slim.

Akane-chan has improved so much, and every baseball noob in the team has improved too. I hope they can win in the tournament.

Watched episode 10:

glad that they beat the team of the arrogant blonde girl. She came "only as leader", but started playing when their team was losing. The salt is real. I hope they meet again in the real tourney, and beat her again.

the previous loss from Seijo gave the team good experience. This time the girls are better trained, have more experience, and they're playing to win.. not just for fun anymore.

Akane still had some self doubt. Probably because the words of the arrogant blonde got to her.
A pat on the back give back her courage, and she did good for the team.

one of the girls from Seijo is surprised that Jingiji is coaching Tomocchi. xD

I don't think low budgets and sports work well with each other. It was surprising that the animation did not live past episode 1. Episode 1 was the only one where it was satisfactory, and then it just went downhill from there.

As for the story, there just really isn't much to say. It was really just that.
In the end, just an advertisement for the game. I'm not sure if I should give it credit for using nostalgic songs or shame it for having to rely on it.

...Except it probably failed as advertisement. I'll give the game a few more months to live, perhaps...

Watched episode 12:

Jinguji looked like she was about to cry when Iwaki hit a home run. Quite impressive she revived the baseball in her school all by herself. Too bad Tsubasa and friends had to dream crush Seijo very early.

Anyway, so Arihara and friends win. They got the much needed promotion for more people to join the team. Hoping for a season 2 or a few special episodes to show the new members.

7/10 and will watch a season 2
