It is better than the last food focused one. But it was kind of bland. The main character just feels...done. Like we're picking up at the end of her character arc instead of the beginning. She's already near super human before getting any powers. She seems fine. Good at whatever she seems to do and only really cares about whether she can enjoy some food. That does make her motivated (especially with flashbacks) to stop the enemies of the show. But...just seems a bit too perfect.

Will give it another episode or two. But not feeling much from this.

to be fair.. this precure season imo is a smart move by TOEI. Adding a tuxedo kamen character gives a fresh perspective to the show, gives a self insert character for boys watching the anime. I remember a survey posted last year that a lot of young boys in japan also watch precure.

however, it's also a gamble because some people might not like this change. So they're probably hoping the number of people who get attracted by this kamen character is greater than the number of people who are turned away by this change.

now, the reasons why I dropped this right away is..

1. Don't like the addition of the kamen character. But as I've said, this is something that could give more life to the series, so goodluck to them on this.

2. This is just personal preference... the character designs of the blue and yellow cures don't look cute enough, the attractiveness feels toned down for some reason. sorry for being a critic, just personal preference. Only the main cure looks cute.. and it's not worth following a show the entire year for one character alone.

anyway, will just wait for the precure in 2023. And to those people who will follow this, I hope it would be a fun precure year for ya.

Yeah, I haven't watched this but I've seen gifs and that purple guy thing named Rosemary looks like the most annoying thing they
could possibly put in a Pretty Cure series.... kill it with fire.

he can be a self insert for the boys and a love interest for girls. Anime characters can have more than one purpose. Could not find it anymore.. since it was posted years ago, but there was a poll showing that one dream job of some boys in japan is to become a precure. TOEI simply granted them their wish with this kamen character (lol). And being a love interest of the heroine is simply one of the many benefits of having a character to self insert themselves to.

the one with the baby is Hugtto Precure. And it's one of the best precure ever created (my biased opinion because Yukari Tamura is there). Enjoyed watching that from the first episode to the last episode.

Yes, they are. Ikemen are needed in every show because it automatically improves the show. Everybody knows this.

Of course Rosemary ISN'T an ikemen though; he's ugly AF ._.
