I'm glad they left it open-ended. That means they can make a 2nd season when the manga finishes and get a proper end. At least the opportunity to do so exists. Whether they can or not is a different story.

I'm a big fan of romance, but I found myself moved more by the stargazing than anything else. It was nicely done.

group says it should be out in a few days. i for one never saw Saku and Mihoshi as a couple. though they're the main "pairing" their chemistry isn't really romantic in the sense of Fumi or Hime.

(or, in my stretch of an imagination, Sayo.. needs more of her..)

Final thoughts:

Early on I said that the first episode was "fun but forgettable" and I guess that applies to the whole series now that I've finished it. I certainly laughed and liked the characters enough, but I don't think I'll remember this much after a few weeks. I'd probably give it a 6 or 7. A fair comedic anime.

Absolutely loved this show to death. The stargazing scenes can only be described as epic, and the love for astronomy shows right through the accurate depictions of the star alignments.

But yeah, totally waiting for the second season.

And man, the insert songs were some of the most calming things I've heard since the Aria anime insert songs.

Yeah, it's basically like Hatsukoi Limited for me. Meditations on high school romances punctuated with bits of comedy.

I can see why they did an open ended ending, but I think the "harem| pretty much ended a couple of episodes ago, with Hime and Fumin as interesting distractions and not serious "candidates".

But it's interesting to see how others have looked at the relationships as they developed.

So um... is episode 12 and the special going to be subbed?

Not asking when or anything like that, I'm just wondering, did the sub group drop it at the final episode, or do they just have a backlog?

I just want to know if I should keep my eye out or if I should just forget about it and move on.

I hope that's okay to ask...

they've said it will come out in a few weeks when the other sub group catches up.

lol just finished watching ep 12 and i wont lie hime was pretty much the only reason i kept watching this series, her reactions were hilarious to the very last ep. also who knew a show based on watching stars could be so amusing! well it was fun while it lasted hopefully there will be a season 2 somewhere in the future.

That took awhile. It wasn't the greatest thing ever, but I thought it was a funny/sweet series and, as already mentioned, having it revolve around astronomy was a unique touch. I'd give it a 7-8/10 and would love a second season.

Very well made anime, not the typical highschoool love drama comedy, i really like it, overall 9/10 in my opinion.

Beautiful finale to a nice series.

I know there's an OVA to come, but what I'd like to see is a Roma & Oumi at university special - after all, they actually got the romantic end when the 'main couple' didn't!
