Well originally when I load the image in photoshop it has an inivisible background thingy so you see the white and grey squares and some of the colours got lost so I had to refill them...also, when I load the image the outter part of the image looks all crappy so I just use fill on the background a couple of times and its fine ^___^

It's because the file is a .gif, Grav. Instead of *saving* and *opening* the animesuki template, just copy it, open photoshop, file->new and press ctrl+v. That should make it so no color loss/crappiness happens. The leaf brush, I canot find in my folder, looked through all my brush files, not there...yet it's in the list. Wierd. If you have photoshop 7 or CS (not 6 or below), go to the brush options and select "reset brushes", and scroll down until you find them. Should be there :/

Ahhh okey, I managed to edit my FMA banner and now have two versions, but I am still undecided on font...I might use Kristen ICT but not sure...anyway here are two versions anyway:

Think I did have it deep red at one point...oh well, the suggestions are welcome, thanks ^_^

Found a great picture to play with once I fix that color...hope I can edit it properly tho...it is just the very essence of Thanksgiving haha (look forward to it lol). Maybe I'll just make it my signature if I can't get it to work.

Pucca rocks, I watch that stuff. I'd say cut out the colors on the left and right, and erase everything up to the sun, and maybe keep the fishes. So then you'd have the sun with Garu in the middle, on the template background. Then throw some in some leaves like we all have been doing (of course now everyone is doing Halloween ones >.>

But that's only a suggestion, I don't have the full image so I don't know what you have to work with, or if outside my mind it would look good or not.

Well... Here goes nothing. I'm definitely not a very good Photoshopper, but I wanted to give this a try...

I couldnt decide between red and white leaves, so I made a second copy.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated ^^.

I like the second one, but the bigger text should have a blending option added to it so it'll stand out more IMO. (if you right click the text layer, there should be an option for 'blending' so you can add shadows or whatever.)

I like it a lot, but maybe you can change the color of the text because it kind of hard to see. The text doesn't stand out in some areas of the background where it it is light in color.

Here is my second banner and I tried doing the Chinese Moon Festival since a couple of ppl PMed me if I'll really do it. It may not look festive but it's got the moon and some moon treats.
