I'm sure they'll get into the plot in later trailers. I think it's a good idea to start off just with the action, show off the abilities a bit, etc. After all the plot is probably the standard in MegaMan games. Some sort of computer virus making all these powerful robots go berserk.

Welp, here we go again: Just a month before the game's release date (and shortly after the (pseudo) failure of the Red Ash Kickstarter), MN9 gets delayed again..... to Q1 2016.
Looks like the reason for the delay is due to fixing some bugs in the online features, but there's no doubt that several folks will find the timing of the announcement to be rather..... suspect, at the least. Could the delay truly be due to a programming oversight, or has Inafune become the monster he split himself away from, and is deliberately holding back the game as punishment for the bombing of the Red Ash campaign!? Stay tuned to find out! |

That's just annoying as heck. I can't help but agree with some of the more silly conspiracies considering the timing. Several months delayed for online bug fixing!? Really!?
Is everyone going on a holiday? Just ship the damn game and patch the online features as you can.

I just don't care what else they do in terms of making goofy decisions. Just get the game out and let me play the darn thing . Been a long road to get here.
At this point any level of failure wouldn't surprise me. Especially tossing in an ad that looks to be sent to kids in the 90s.

As much as he wants to, Beck cannot be Kirby :P
I'll give them the tight budget call though, it has become quite obvious that the making of this game turned to be a lot more challenging than what was originally believed, forcing a path of procrastination and delays that can only be remedied through a larger budget (and a lot more hours of work than your typical 8-hour). |
