I just thought I'll say that Klause's getup at the end of ep 27 reminds me of Kenichi's elder's mask in chapter 223 (in the DFOD arc)

Episodes 27 and 28 make extremely obvious references to DBZ, of course. A reference that somewhat surprised me was that the announcer announces the fighters in the exact same style (to an extent so similar I'm certain they used to same person) as the announcer in PRIDE FC, A now defunct Japanese MMA organization.

In ep27, the dome where the Butler Tournament is being held has a ceiling that resembles the Melon Bread from Shakugan No Shana

melon bread + flames = Shakugan No Shana

Another interesting one I read was
picture of a tiger + kendo dojo = Taiga, the teacher, from Stay/Fate Night

I got some references from there and I used to post some myself before you put up your wiki. The shana reference is the most interesting unintentional or oddly implemented reference that I've read.

You're probably right about the building. Just like the Otakyu shopping centre is a real building. Might be some baseball field or an old Olympic building.

At about 21:35 in episode 29, it doesn't have the dance but doesn't that look a lot like a Moon Spiral Heart Attack death from Sailor Moon?

In episode 27, at around 19:59 when Kaede Nonohara uses Safety Shutter, doesn't that move resemble Hiei's Jaou Ensatsu Kokuryuha, or Dragon of the Darkness Flame technique from Yu Yu Hakusho?

Also in episode 16, at 8:16 Hayate asks "Does he have an acceleration device in his back teeth?". Isn't this suppose to be a reference to Cyborg 009 where Joe Shimamura uses a switch in his teeth to move faster?

It incredibly closely resembles Pikkon's special move from DBZ, the fact that it's a long-charging flame beam attack that is used inside a square platform inside a tournament (all points being the same)... with the same kind of counter being used, teleportation behind during the charging phase.

Anyone notice that Dorothy from Mar was in ep 18? Come to think of it, there were a lot of Mar references, like on the back in ep 13. Ep. 5 you see Dorothy and Ginta after Hayate saves the squids.... And others, I'm sure.

Ep 3: Sailor Moon parody! "In the name of love, I shall punish you!" XD

I think everyone knows about Hayate's Solid Snake escapade from ep 4. In the same episode, Yukiji did the Shishengumi motto and the Gotestu move from Rurouni Kenshin.

And not to mention that one butler Hayate-kun fought looked A LOT like Gin Ichimaru from Bleach. Or is it just my imagination? That hair, that smile..... c'mon!

Also there was an acceleration device reference to Cyborg 009 in Ep. 16.

There was a funny little Edward Elric moment for Nagi in ep 15.... "don't call me small!"

And I still think Hayate's entire character is just like Allen from D.Grayman.

Shakugan no Shana reference in Ep 22.

Death Note reference in ep 23!! Also, that boss dude looked an awful lot like Jonah Jameson from Spiderman. o_O

31: Nagi makes a shin-chan face. She has a manga with the talking Mar guy on the back. The three main characters from Mar(boy, girl, ball) all make an appearance in 31.
30: I think the names and occupations thing might be Conan, but I could be easily wrong. The whole episode is obviously conan inspired.

Someone please tell me that I'm not the only one that noticed the Let's & Go-type battle at the end of episode 31. there has to be someone else that recognizes it! Hayate's "Hayate Magnum" is based off one of the main character's cars, which is called "(Something) Magnum" after every upgrade or repair.
