Well, the cast list lists a role for "Nyasu" which shares the same seiyuu as Kaos. I guess it's that cat.
---- Have anyone noticed that Kaos's hobbies looks more like that for a man than for a teenage girl? I don't usually see women having their desks full of figurines. Tsubasa is nearly the most boyish character in Kirara's history, rivaled only by GA's Tomokane.

Well, one of the comments says "the characters aren't moe." (CR translates to "the characters do nothing for me") Assuming Kaos's art is at least par for moe, her storywriting probably has a negative effect.

I don't think they were trying to say women don't or shouldn't collect figurines, just that it's unusual. There's plenty of things like that. Liking shows with lots of boobs and butts, or shows filled with blood and guts, for example. These are far more "boy" things and while there are certainly plenty of girls who do it too, it's still comparatively unusual and gives an impression of a "boyish" or "odd" personality that generally contrasts with others. That said, it's not very effective here since not only does she choose a format and style that's very low in sexiness, she's placed right next to a girl who writes porn for a living. Then again, maybe they're supposed to be somewhat opposite, with Chaos liking slightly boyish things like fanservice but unable to draw or conceive of anything that's not cute and innocent, while her senpai likes cute and innocent stuff but can't help but draw stuff filled with fanservice and pornographic situations.

It does have a Hidamari Sketch vibe to me as well but not enough to be called a copy of it.
As far as anime goods geared towards females go there are more and more of it out there. I joke that my local Kinokuniya gets more and more rotten all the time.

Kaos really is an impressive mix of hilarious and tragic. Is gaining a lot from spending time in that dorm, but wow she's taking some hits along the way. Taking shots on her fashion sense, art, high school girl mindset, proportions, etc. To be sure she's going to grow a lot from this and having friends that share her interests is key. Though it might be a rather painful process to get to the point where her manga can be serialized.
That girl is just hilariously dark. Though I did like how she was so protective of her hair. It's her one sign of growth and she can't bring herself to have it cut . And wow Kaos is on a tier of her own in terms of how she puts her self worth. She doesn't understand gourmet...so she doesn't deserve to eat!? Another pretty amusing episode. A pretty fun bunch of characters.

If this continues Kaos will fight with Kuroki (from Watamote) for the title of the girl everybody wants to hug and tell her everything will be alright. |

Anyway, this episode seems to have confirmed Kaos as an antithesis to Ruki, with the way she's so quick to get fired up over erotic things. Seriously, the last character I saw thank God for feeling a big pair was Hyoudou Issei of High School DxD. |
