I really liked the battle between Max and Natsu. Why can Natsu use that magic now though? Is it just residual from the battle with Hades a while ago?

Finally the filler is over

I love the tournament arc in the manga

I watched half the filler arc... wasnt bad but not great either. Though for filler that's good and quite rare, so I guess it deserves some props for that.

Yeah... and Laxus's animation looks younger than he was vs Hades (and way younger than he looks in the manga)

oh well, not the first time that happened with Laxus animation.

On the plus side the filler content this ep (the Happy not working) was actually pretty good, so I have high hopes they fill out some event well this arc which they've been doing since Edolas arc at a much higher rate than previous arcs. Like the Edolas Gajeel was pretty good, but the Tenrou Island filler stuff was a bit weaker imho though not horrible (exp the chicken and goat attacking again was kinda lame fof a FT fight, oh well my subjective opinion).

Was a bit shocked with Sting and Lector's voices... too. And like always I'm so tempted to spoil things for the anime fans... so I'll leave it at if your curious as to what will happen next, then read the manga and find out or wait for it to air months and months from now

Yaaaaay!! Time for the best FT Arc!
I'm very surprised Natsu had the self-control to miss that Mode-TFD blast. Guess no matter how much he likes to fight/win, he still considers the safety of his friends first. As Master Mavis wanted, this is a very fine guild indeed.
That Kitty in the frog suit from the last episode was very awesome looking.

Wow Max has gotten real strong. Figures Gildartz wouldn't stay as master. Like how he brought back Laxus before handing it back to Makarov. Interesting way to give Wendy a helping hand. So they have 3 months to train, wonder how they'll do that.

Seems alot has happened since i last watched fairy tail around 20 eps ago. Looking forward to getting a stable internet connection to start watching it again.

Its part of Natsu's abilities now. Anyone can learn any magic in this series.

Somehow, this episode was funnier in the manga, but felt a bit more touching in the anime. I suppose it was because I knew what jokes were coming, heh. Anyway, looking forward to the next episode, since Jellal shows up. Been looking forward to his reunion with Erza.

I think they cut out certain scenes from the manga version of the episodes to place them in the fourth OVA. Also, Lyra's song, My Fist of the North Star manly tears were about to come out a la Niagara. Is it any surprise she's Meloetta's VA?

Really enjoyed the episode a lot. It was touching and very Lucy-centric, so i love that. It was cute how Levy and Juvia's outfits were old Lucy ones.

Natsu is a strange one in this, kinda. Loved him in the spirit world, but it was weird on the beach. Like in the previous arc he seemed calmer and didn't seem to care that much that others looked down on Fairy Tail, but now it seems like his main motivation.

Oh and it looks like we'll see jellal, Meledy and Ultear again O____0
Can't wait to see them.

Yeah, very likely it might end up in an OVA, but still it was only 6 pages so I fear it won't...

Plus the joke(s) in it where amazing.

For any anime fan we're referring to ch 261 pages 15-20 (NSFW). This chapter ended at the end of ch 262. Next episode based on the spoilers is the next two chapters (263 & 264). Wonder when/if we'll get one ch episodes like we got tons of in Edolas arc...

Though I'll admit minus that cut every thing about this episode was very very good, even the little bit of filler we got (such as Natsu training Dragon Fire Breath at the bottom of the ocean). Hell, even how they replaced that cut out scene with was good, plus I guess it did save time for other stuff.

My only regret was seeing what the filler girl was really... I've only watched half the filler and was just about to continue watching it to solve the mystery of her (forgetting her name)

Fairy Tail doing a summer fun training camp.
Natsu & Gray sure enjoyed the hell out of it ^^
Everyone was working hard and doing their best.
Lets just hope that will be enough..
The whole spirit world in danger pop-up mission was an unexpected surprise.
Guess that was just a surprise party for Lucy ROFL, nice one!!
Although it was a great party it still wasn't worth losing three months of training...

Troll chapter is LMFAO and

In the manga, the troll was more abrupt and spontaneous, which made it funnier. Even so, I did chuckle at it in the anime - it's hard not to.

And those missing six pages.... Even if they weren't doing an OVA about it, I can still see why they'd cut it - the NSFW factor is overwhelming.

*sigh* for me, the next two episodes are going to be painful for me... >< Blue was my favorite color...until I saw him again...

At least I get to see the other two!!!

It's not really a matter of "might". They already announced the next OVA, and the advertising for it makes it pretty clear it'll include the small bits they cut.
