Valkyria Chronicles - Requests for new threads

I don't think a thread should be necessary right at this time. After all, we can't say for sure that this is another Valkyria Chronicles game. We have no conformation of what's going on. Until we have a much more defined view of what's going on with the future of VC, stuff like this might simply have to go in the generic discussion until further notice.
After all, we don't know if this is going to be VC3, a new season of the anime (which, I think it most likely) or something else entirely. So, let's just wait until Thursday before we jump to conclusions.

And as I said, it might be best to open the thread on Thursday upon 'official' announcement... but regardless, I wanted the mods to know.

What about a thread where we could discuss various characters and their potentials?

I'm particularly interested in asking other fans if they were a character in Valkyria Chronicles, what class would they be, what perks/potentials they would have and why?

I'll definitely second any kind of character discussion thread. I thought a lot of the characters (especially the side characters) were the most interesting part of the game, and I think a thread for discussing them would be great.

That would be off-topic, unless there was a Character Creation thread. At least, in my mind, a character discussion thread would be to discuss any canon character in the series. Not for creation of or importing of characters.

If those who want to do that really do want to, then they should request a thread that caters more to that need.

However, there already is a character discussion thread which probably should be leveraged for talking about characters in the games and their potentials and whatnot, I think.

Hello, I was hoping to have a thread created to inform fans of the Valkyria Chronicles franchise regarding efforts being made by a group of fans, called the Gallian Liberation Front, to convince Sega to either publish an English-language version of Valkyria Chronicles 3 or to hand the game over to another publisher, such as XSeed or NIS America, to localize for an English speaking audience.

From what i have seen and read, it's just a strategic cardgame (with 3d graphics for the battle scenes, but otherwise it's pretty bland) for the browser (and later for the smartphone ) with the characters from all 3 valkyria games
