Well, his join date states July 2003 which is about a year ago, but I do remember a banner contest to change the banners not so long ago......

Isn't there usually a summer bannner contest? If so I'd like to see some with new animes, can't think of any I want to see, but you get it.

What's wrong with often changing banners? There should be more of there banner contest thingies.. to keep things interesting. Besides, if people want to keep a banner, old banners should be allower to enter a contest.

or you could just keep adding and adding banners...

or cycling through them.

you do know however, that if everyone voted for different banners, 90% would be naruto.

I think we should get new banners, the rabbits, inuyasha, and the other things remind me of a Japanese preschool wall border. But they are pretty damn cute.

It's not that the banners now are bad or anything. I thing they're great. What I was thinking of was the contests and getting to see the creative side of people.

Someone would have to make an Aishiteruze Baby banner before you could possibly vote for it. Why don't you create the banner? Then you'd be one step closer to convincing us to use it. Uselessly saying that you want to vote for one, puts all of the fault on other people instead of taking responsibility for your own power to effect the world.

I'll probably take responsibility for the next banner contest also.

But gosh it was a lot of work to keep track of ever single vote. Next time I'll shorten the cycle since it got kinda boring and slow towards the end. One week really is enough time for everyone to make their banners. And it shouldn't take more than 5 days for the final poll.

Since it is summer now, it really is time for a new banner contest. Does everyone think we should stick with a seasonal theme? I wonder what the theme for the next banner contest should be...
