caster13 had made sound clips and posted it on this forum.
From what I found, it's called "After School and the Blue Sky". It's the longer piano and violin piece that plays when Minorin confronts Takasu on why he tried to pull pranks on her during the summer trip to the Ami's villa.

That looks to be the only version on the released OST.

For those of you with the OST, can you tell me if the piano track they sometimes play just before the ending is included? Most recently it was used at the end of ep. 14.

Somehow, these musical pieces don't sound so magical after they have left the context of the anime. When used in line with speech from the characters, brilliant. But when listened on their own, it loses its impact really quickly. Some are still great regardless like "The Evening Promises", "After School and The Blue Sky" and "Lost My Pieces", but they just don't have that kind of "kick" you get when they're heard in the anime.

That tends to be true of many tracks in any given OST .... I consider an OST a hit if I get more than 5 or 10 decent tracks out of the mess. Background music is often kind of pointless on its own unless its a character theme or something.

yep, i guess the storyline really creates the mood for instrumentals.
but still i like track 24 and 28 on their own + 21.. ^^
btw, where did you get the english titles of each song,
my computer couldn't show the kanji characters so all i see are boxes... ^^

Unless my memory and sound recognition is really off, I don't think that piece is on the OST. Which is a shame since it is a nice piece.

I also have to admit that I barely recognized a lot of the tracks without something for my eyes to go with. I have to say I'm enjoying pretty much all of the tracks despite not knowing where they came from in the show :P

That piano track isn't on there. I was pretty disappointed too, like others have said, 21, 24, and 28 are all really good.

This "piano right before the ending" you're all talking about is pretty much "Vanilla Salt TV-size type 2". Who knows if it'll show up on CD.

I'm starting to suspect some of the tracks aren't even used in the show; I can hardly recognize quite a few of them. Is that so, or am I simply not listening to Toradora as must as I watch it?

I've heard like 90% of them at one point, at least.

I have yet to recall where "Tiger VS Dragon", my personal favorite theme, plays, however.

Duty of Love, like Startup, sounds like one of those themes that plays when the episode begins... I'm pretty sure that Monochrome Set played in the beach episodes, during the "scary" parts, and Kitchen in the Dark I'm pretty sure plays in the first episode when Taiga first attacks Ryuuji...

But I don't remember. Nor do I remember when Love on the Balloon plays.

And if they haven't been used yet, maybe they will be used in future episodes.

So, "silky heart" and "オレンジ" come out on the 28th. This means that for all real purposes, the new OP & ED will be released on CD before their TV-sizes are aired on TV.

Has this ever happened before?

Something like that happened just this past season. Nana Mizuki's "Trickster", containing the full OP and ED for Rosario + Vampire Capu2, was released before the show began.

Does the OST include that upbeat tune heard in Ep13 when Ryuji first realizes that Taiga was lonely on stage and plays all the way to the start of the race? That tune also plays for a short while during Ep15 when Taiga tries at baseball. I sure didn't hear that track in the OST.
