Okay, I am not sure why no one is talking about this part, especially since the opening was put up; did no one saw the other 4 machines based on the Valvrave? Part of me thinks those are other machines that will be known soon, another part of me, which may be too far fetch is that the Valvrave can form change, the red Valvrave would be the bacic form, the blue one is some archer, the green one uses buzzsaw, the yellow uses cannons, and the purple one uses a scepter I think.

Spoiler for my feelings towards episode 1 after that scene:
Aww man, never had an episode feel so cathartic. On a side note, as much as OP sounded good, I wanted the ED more.

What? I thought Dyson Sphere is by definition is something that's suppose to surround the sun (the closer the better, but more dangerous). Because if it surrounds the entire solar system, it ain't gonna get any energy because of the inverse square law. XD

There's one in Star Trek TNG that encompasses the entire orbit of Earth. I'm just wondering if this sphere is that big, or a bit smaller. |

Wasn't really paying enough attention, so I'll have to re-watch it I guess. Also, I'm not seeing his name on the credits, but was that "Char" narrating in the beginning? Edit: Paying closer attention to the beginning, the dyson sphere appears to be encompassing the sun, but it must be a heck of a small one (or trying to make physical sense of an anime is a fool's dream). Though, now I'm confused. It initially appears that those panels on the dyson sphere are essentially habitats. Later, when the fighting starts, you get the shot of the "planet". Was that actually a shot of the dyson sphere's surface?

The sun? I don't think so. Right at the beginning there were several spheres. Most likely an artificial sun.

So, what we're seeing at the start are some finished spheres (that look like planets), and one sphere that's still in the process of being built. Quote:
Also, getting back to size and gravity, I just realized they're on the inside of the spheres, not the outside. Presumably they are spinning the spheres to generate gravity? Which would also suggest the "sky" we see later on at night is an artificial image on the dome surface of their habitat.

Do remember they said "JIOR Sphere No. 1". Note that JIOR is the netural country between the two military superpowers. So yeah, they're just a space colony that belongs to the JIOR country, and by going by the ED/OP, there's 4 other JIOR spheres each containing their own version of Valvrave.
