Strange, no hints about what kind of UE mobile suit/armor Sparrow is actually countering. Probably it's an Age System reaction to a dire combat situation (Diva got swarmed by the UE perhaps) OR... Sparrow is a reaction to Yurin's return itself.

It's long been suspected that the Sparrow would be made to counter the Zedas. As it is a lightweight and high speed armament, and the Zedas is a fast UE, so put two and two together.

That got me thinking, what if Baqtos, Zedas and Gafrans would attack at the same time, how would the AGE system handle that? sofar it's been mostly solo battles, but a big enemy force would make the AGE-1 Gundam pretty useless no matter what the loadout is

If the Sparrow is indeed for the Zedas, then why didn't the Age builder quick-mold (as a reaction like the DODS rifle) the Sparrow parts during the Nora incident? Yurin's return probably coincides the introduction of a new UE unit, or an upgraded Zedas.

@Znozzy - That's when the AGE Builder goes on overdrive and build the war-winning AGE-2 parts.

Since the scenario you've depicted will probably occur at the very last battles of the first generation and there's no clear indication that the AGE-2 is exclusive to Asem, his father might as well test it in combat. It's a more elegant scenario than Flit using a Gage-ing system style of mismatched Sparrow and Titus parts on AGE-1 just to counter the final UE swarm.

Hmm, Sparrow/Titus hybrid? that would look.. wierd. thin legs, bulky arms? thin arms, bulky legs?

if anything, two scenarios:

1. Diva's cast loses the assault on the UE's base, but Flit manages to obtain enough combat data for the AGE-System to obtain blueprints for AGE-2, while they lost the battle, they have not lost the war

Asem and Flit build the Gundam AGE-2 together, after hearing about his father's bravery 20? years ago, he wants to pilot it, UE attacks and Emily whines, Flit ends up entrusting Asem with the brand new Gundam AGE-2

2. Diva + Mobile suits end up beating the UE and a time of peace ensues, for now...

the last thing you see one of the UE's visor's doing that duuuududuudududuuuu sound... (dots added for a very dramatic effect!) then it flies off

Flit and his son live happily together with Emily?(or Yurin), UE attacks, Flit sorties in the AGE-1 Titus/Sparrow/Normal type, gets defeated, but obtains enough data for AGE-2, however, during the attack Flit is injured?/Disabled?/Too Old? and Asem is forced/volunteer's to pilot the AGE-2

Based on AGE Builder's performance so far, it seems that it can build a new weapon/part almost instantly, but before that, it needed data and time to analyze it. Remember back when it constructed the DODS Rifle, Vargas mentioned that it already had the data from the first battle so it could build a suitable weapon. The same goes to Baqto, which Flit has encountered once before the Titus parts were built.

During the Nora incident, AGE just fought Zedas for the first time and so far it is capable to hold on on its own, not had its ass kicked by Baqto. Should Zedas shows up, AGE Builder could probably build up the Spallow parts now that it already has Zedas's data.

Also, remember the Zedas Gundam War card? It mentioned that it can even overwhelm Titus, so I assume Spallow will be made to counter it
