Yeah, I found that a bit questionable but it appeared Link foresaw Allen turning into Nea again considering what the surviving Third Exorcist said.

This wouldn't have happened if the stupid science division just put Alma's soul on a female body.
No wonder she freaked out and chose to rather die than letting her love know what has become of her.

It does make you wonder what they were thinking giving the Seconds bodies that are so vastly different from their originals. I can only assume this goes back to the whole "mentally unstable" thing from regaining memories, and having a super different body makes it more difficult to regain those memories. But that's 100% an assumption and it'd have been nice to have it actually explained to some degree.

Now, I'm a bit confused. Why did Alma not want to Kanda know who was he? Is it because, Alma loved the current Kanda after recovering his memories but because he went insane, he believed Kanda would rather die?

I like how they had an instrumental version of Lala's song playing in the background during Alma and Kanda's scene at her resting place.

It wasn't the only piece that was brought back from the original score. Music placement in this weeks episode was so good.

The likely reason why that particular piece of song played out was due:

"Hey, our only exorcist who is capable of fighting is trying to save our allies. TRAITOR!"

"Oh, the villain is saying it's our fault for messing with lovers? LIES!"

"Our enemy is trying to take our potential wild card by trying to win him over to their side, but meh, let's interrogate him for being a HERETIC!"

Damn, the Black Order is really dumb.
No wonder the Noah are so chill about all this and even got room to joke and mess around.

Episode 10

Well it was an interesting transition episode. That cliffhanger gave me a bad vibe regarding Allen Walker's condition though and he still has a lot of questions himself about the 14th.

Looks like Tewaku's rage boiled this episode as well. It's really scary to think about considering how the Millennium Earl can take advantage of that.

I would see them as a stupid if there weren't for the facts that Allen is Nea and how useful is Alma's corpse. Also, even the manga author said in an interview that the post-Alma Karma chapters left a REALLY bad view on the readers, so she wanted to add make it better, but that's spoiler land.

They were pretty much done for regardless once they became Thirds. As the Earl showed, he has complete dominion over Akuma, even if they're only part Akuma.

Night VI. Friend

Last weekend I got the chance to watch Alma Karma's full story arc from episode 6 to episode 9 in one sitting, and now I'm rewatching those episodes again one by one because Yuu's backstory with Alma became a manga adaptation that delivered with honors in the anime.

In spite of the sugary surface, the pacing came fast in the sixth episode. I mean just about halfway into episode when Yuu and Alma's dream flashback began everything quickly spiraled out into apocalyptic proportions.

The Order had serious s****y business and shady deals with undergoing the experiments with the Second Exorcists and the Fallen Ones before that. This is what happens when crazy, religious zealots take utter control and charge, and what I can only say is that the Order had it coming forcing those children to become monsters on their own free will once reacquiring their previous memories and had it enough with the bull***** that were put through thanks to the Order's crazy zealots.

The music at times creepy, at times disturbing, and at times sorrowful once the viewer gets to know about Yuu remembering his previous self and memories, and the girl he so desperately went searching for.

It time for Allen to give the black order the finger and leave since he doesn't have a choice.

Allen must flip the bird to both the Order and the Noah.

The Noah are like washing off themselves from whatever atrocities they've committed and venting all the blame to the Order for the worlds' eyes to see.

Granted, the Order had it coming with the passage of time as they deviated from their morals and embarked with all those fucked-up experiments in order to win the war; spit of shame on them.

But, from the Noah I've felt in the Alma Karma arc that they forced the issue with Allen leaving the Order by exposing the scandals with the Second Exorcists plan, but magnifying that issue as if the Order was and is the sum of all evils in the world.

I really want to see more in-depth on the Noah, and not just their genetic fanaticism against Innocence all the time. I mean what the heck the Innocence did for the Noah to become apocalyptically pi**** off that they created the Akuma weapon and having themselves reincarnated their memories from era to era?

It's not really surprising, but it's rather funny that the bigwigs act all high and mighty when they're at best only human, and at worst Akuma in disguise. Or anything in between.

While exorcists, foolish as they can sometimes be, are chosen by God (or the Innocence) to fight the Noah and Akuma. If they abandon that mission, they become Fallen, which is a pretty obvious condition.

Especially Levellier. He may call them "Second and Third Exorcists", but they're really Akuma. That's what he's turned people into. So why isn't he rotting in a cell instead of Allen?
