Ah, Zero and Roland. Those were good old days.

The battle went pretty quick. It wasn't the "overwhelming fighting force" type of ending that we were expecting at the time.

Back when Qidian haven't muscled their way into this series and we still enjoy the story. Qidian kinda soured this novel for me.

I'm not a fan of the animation style. Too realistic and dull. I was hoping for a more fantasy look.

Keep in mind that it's Chinese animation though. So things like episode length and season length might be severely different from what you are used to from Japanese anime.

I've been catching up and binge reading the missed chapters for this Novel. 1000+ chapters in and Nightingale is still not with Roland. It's looking like Author really has no plan for a harem. Anna and Roland are already married but we are still waiting to find out what the deal was between Anna and Nightingale was. At this point Anna is just being selfish in blocking Nightingale from getting some love.

Yeah...it's terrible. Honestly turned me off this novel a little because how can you keep teasing it, then hint there'll be some conclusion to this and then completely ignore it. The annoying thing is, I believe after the tentacle witches came into the story, there's still some teasing about their relationship (for eg. when nightingale got injured on a mission, iirc). What happened to Roland's guilt about this whole thing? Ah, pisses me off.

Is it Anna that's blocking, or the author's wife?

Anna = Author's wife

It's why he insist on making Anna the main LI even though she's inferior in personality than the other females in the Story. Heck even Andrea has a much better personality and background than Anna..

Those tentacle witches grew on me. It's sad how they had to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep fighting the devils. Fran, Jasmine and Lira's choice was heartbreaking in how they chose to transfer their souls into those worm bodies.
