Is it only a specific site? Or is it the internet as a whole? Do your torrent works?

Also.. try entering the site address >>here<< and see if its just you.

To restore IE7, just go to Add/Remove Programs, Click on Internet Explorer 8 and click remove. This should restore your version of IE7 back.

Note: If you use Windows XP Service Pack 3, IE8 install is permanent. In that case, try using System Restore.

I still advise you to switch to alternative browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari, or Chrome.

I would advice you to ditch IE and try Opera.. but that just me fanboying

If you want lightweight.. you can always try Google Chrome..

or FireFox or Maxthon .. these 2 have abundances of plugins to play with..

I've never downgraded IE, so I really cant give advice on it.. I just have it on my comp so I can check how my codes behaves on them.. IE a pain @.@

Either way, any alternative browser is fine... but the latest versions of Safari and Chrome seems to be the fastest in the new benchmarks compared to Firefox and Opera.. It's up to you... but most websites nowadays will view better on other browsers other than Internet Explorer (and using one minimizes the risk of getting malware via ActiveX controls, etc.).

+1 Opera, for its security and user friendly, like Firefox with all usefull plugins installed.

Any browser will perform better except IE, which you'll have to leave off only as a backup.

If you have installed IE7 and/or IE8 after installing Windows XP Service Pack 3, IE8 can be removed with Add/Remove Programs. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/957700
