well if you tell a size you want I can resize though for santa hat one I'd need original cause I accidental overwrote it, and if I increase size from that small it will look worse from stretching, also here other resized smaller say if it's too small, and my attempt at editing background out of the other, would be better but I only have paint on these computer currently, so ya.

There's no recommended numbers. Just keep experimenting with the ammount of colors and frames until you beat that limit.

Since I see you aren't using the second one anymore I'd like to use if that's alright[I can use one of the other two if not], just tired of my Yui one now xD, Plus I have to support my favorite character with a sig during ISML DE .
