3 new chapters. Yonagi now gonna play a Lead role in a theater act, she gonna be a rich boy who is the friend of the main lead actor Araya who is huge in the theater business. He is like Yonagi but better and ofc the goal of Yonagi is to steal his techniques to be able to express herself better and not just fantasize about the world she dives in each time she "acts" but which for others is hard to see. Feels like this arc might be even better than the Dead Island one as Chiyoko was the total opposite of Yonagi, all expression no emotion, whereas Yonagi is all emotion and no expression aka "acting", as here we get someone who is just like Yonagi and understands her but who is much further ahead of her as he overcame his weaknesses Yonagi has yet to discover.
Also saw that Act-Age is ranking pretty highly in the late Jump Polls which is good. Back then on its first chapter I feared this would end under 20 chapters but now it feels like this might go on for quite a while. And if you think that the artist is just 20 then that's good as well, we gonna need new blood for the mangaka world in japan anyway. The old masters are getting old after all.

I finally caught up to the latest chapter. No wonder this series gets good rankings every week, I am literally blown away by how good and suspenseful the story is. Without a doubt, I would rank Act-age as the top 3 best story-telling series currently in Weekly Jump.
The character development in this series is so damn good. It is remarkable how Mitsuki-sensei can juggle so many characters and develop them simultaneously in so few chapters. |

So, he's not dead yet just critical. Which is worse because those actors who love him want to see him before he dies. Though that would be the worst they could do to such a director who wants to see his actors shine like stars even if he has to pass away for it. Kei really improved, she took the whole inevitable death feeling and put it into her character. Calm, collected, trying to compose the others. Araya did took it hard but Kei got him back on the carpet, or stage in this case. Looks to me like our two glasses actors took the news far worse than Araya and co. And the whole audience is also shocked by the news, which is bad for the performance as the performance would have to be so good that they basically forget Iawo`s condition till the play is over. Big hurdles to clear, that's for sure.
