I just hope that if there is a third season or a spinoff series that will deal with the Geass stuff that there isn't a new main character. I hope they don't pull a Yugi-Oh GX with Lelouch and other R1/R2 characters being reduced to cameos.

Should be more Lelouch, CC, Kallen, Suzaku, Milly, Rivalz, Neena, etc.

Bring back most of the old gang as a new threat emerges.

As far as I believe, she DID change her plans because of Lelouch.

Sad thing is, Okouchi's official statements that the show's over cut us off here. We're stuck with this ending.

Actually, he didn't care if Kallen lived or died. Remember, he blew up Mt. Fuji to take down the black knights. What if Kallen was among them? He wouldn't have cared. It's a miracle that every named character except Diethard lived in the last couple episodes, but there were still massive casualties on both sides and Lelouch pretty much kept going forward without caring as part of his plan.

Euphemia's death is the one thing that broke his illusions of hiding behind aesthetics. He was twiddling his thumbs hoping that world peace would be handed to him on a silver platter. Lelouch goes back into living in hiding. It makes sense. He let people think he was dead once before. Why wouldn't he do it, again? Go back to living under a false name and identity.

An OVA, Movie, or Season 3 could involve Lelouch knocking on Kallen's door. He lost contact with CC and some Geass dudes are after him. Wowza.

I don't think so Lelouch knows Gurren's fighting abilities so he'll know that she'll survive or what's the point in having Suzaku at his side ? It was to keep any ace pilot in check
