Use the ToA overlimit system maybe? I don't know since the trailer shows the Union bar still there so Overlimits might be the same... Or removed.
Which might be a good thing since the US removed all the Hi-Ougis in the english ToS release.

The english release of Tales of Symphonia had no Hi-Ougis, aside from three I believe. Collete's Holy Judgement works (but it's totally random), Llyod's Falcon Crest works but it's tricky and near impossible to do since the game never tells you HOW to do it, and Mithos has Indigniate Judgement but I think only he uses it on Mania or something.
Originally every character had a Hi-Ougi, there special moves they use during their Overlimit. Except Sheena, her Summons are her 'Hi-Ougi'.

Oh right Yeah the PS2 version had all the cool Hi-Ougis... Sad the GC version didn't since Hi-Ougis have been in the game since the originals, although they were secret button combos.

Some new screen on famitsu.com. I hope this game doesn't get too overshadowed by tales of verperia.
I wished they had stayed with cel-shading ;_; |

It seems Namco JP still has grudge with US, with the Destiny 2 >< Eternia things.. They should release the original ToS into PS2 in English first before going any further... >_> I've yet to play the original game, but manga and OVA adaptation seems pretty good in their story telling.
The battle system pretty much looks like ToA for me.

I don't know... I like how that looks. Reminds me of the Tales of the Abyss graphic style, which I like. Cel-shading is nice and all but... It tends to make a game feel too 'cutesy' to have any sort of serious storyline or anything.
