With that said I don't see much of a resemblance between the two shows and I expect a normal, by-the-book romance between Sana and Nanaka. It's not necessarily a bad thing - my only hope is that Nanaka will be knocked down a few pegs and that she'll have to do a bit more than act all lovey-dovey to win Sana's heart. Last thing I want to see is a doormat lead male. |

And Sana did not go after her, like everybody suspected he would to apologize. He did what everybody wanted and made her suffer, in terms of making her regret what she did with:

Uuuugh, ep2 is angering me.
Sana seems to have a lack of self-respect, allowing himself to be slapped, then accepting all the rudeness from miko-girl. Very frustrating, and makes me hate him as a male protagonist. Remembering the song didnt do it for me: the odds are much better she wouldnt have been there when he went to play it. He should go for the new, friendly girl. |

Sana isn't exactly the manliest male character out there but I don't really think he lacks self respect. He hasn't given up on her because she was his first love, that's all. If he just gave up on her and never spoke to her again we wouldn't have much of a story.

That's too harsh. She slapped him, but a violin is a bit... Plus, what if he breaks it? Quote:

LOL…I wonder what that guy did in order to deserve this slap. This was some powerful stuff.
At first I was interested in this show simply because I liked Nanaka’s character design, but after watching the first episode it definitely caught my interest even more. It seems like a generic romance show but that’s exactly what I need - a good old classic love story. I hope that will repair the damage after watching School Days. Well, here’s for hoping Aoi will decide to move to France (Damn, I guess the damage is still here!)
