Well, if I'm honest, the "modernization event chain" went a bit too quickly if you ask me. But whatever.

I would agree if such modern towns didn't already exist. The tech is already there, Kaijin and his brothers bring the knowledge, and they have a absolutely massive workforce with the Orcs to get things done quickly.

They also have to instantly supply 150,000 very large hard-working people with food as promised. I don't know where this food is coming from, it's a forest area with no large farms in view and any farms would require lots of manual labour to become productive months from now but there's no sign of food production, just building and fabrication.

At, say, 2kg of food for each orc a day, it's been three months or 100 days according to the story text, that makes 30,000 tonnes of food produced and consumed over that period. I wonder where it's coming from?

"Hey Orc 136,492? I haven't seen Orc 100,404 around recently, have you?"

"Sorry number 78,690. He was detailed to go work at the food division last week and didn't come back."

"Ah well. Say, these pork chops taste good, don't they?"

"Yeah, but I'm getting kinda tired of having them for dinner every day."

I don't think I've seen any female orcs either, come to think of it.

To answer your question regards orc food,
It come from Treant race which fruit is a top tier magic ingredient that can supply monster for a very long period

See all those orc tear when Trynee announce her coorporation?
Normally one will not be able to access such fruit easily

I think anime will not explain this part
Rimuru state in Manga that the fish from Lizardman could go extinct if there're no others food source and that when Trynee offer her and Treant help so
The problem regards food shortage basically resolve for a period of time

The 2nd OP certainly fitts in more with series tone and themes even I liked the first one better.

For this episode, its just basically Rimuru getting kicked upstairs repeatedly.

TBH, the navel gazing Rimuru is being showered in is getting a bit tiresome. I even feel like the scene between Geld and Onis would been stronger if they buried the hachet without bringing up Rimuru.

Gabiru seems like contender to be Rimuru's next recurit and I wouldn’t be surprised if his father partly let him go for with the Lizardman's treasure no less.

Theres no way Gabiru was able to leave with his spear without the king's permission which I'm sure the prince knew and hence why he wept. So much mercy from his father.

I agree, I just don't he did it without some expectation that he might be of use to Rimuru and Jura Federation some day. I'm sure that artifact has a lot historical and cultural significance to Lizardmen to just hand it off.

A good way to make a political statement that they're not concerned with the old and are accepting of the new rule. Especially when it's only recent history is as the weapon of the traitor who nearly got everyone killed.

Preview images have been released for Episode 16 - "Demon Lord Milim Attacks":
http://www.ten-sura.com/story/no16

For some reason the images are not in correct order though, unless the anime made some changes.

I still cant get used with rimuru voice after all this episode, something from his/her? Voice just didnt click for me.

I dont mind they "fast forward" the modernization scene but it seems they also skip some scene too.
Spoiler for The scene in question:

Unless they swap the scene and shown it later after the dwarf king, though i cant see why they doing that

What with this extremely fast pace lol
they basically rush extra details. skip some world building and rush to Milim part

Dwarf King Explanation and some useful information are skip
aside from certain "gift"

Demon Lord gathering part is just few second...... we barely see others 2 Demon Lords
No discussion that lead to the conclusion of gathering either

Guess they really intend to finish volume 4 by the end of season

Everything after this went fast but still follow Manga to certain level
This was a given. They had 8 episodes for all of LN vol. 1, now based on promo stuff, they only have 8.5 episodes left for both LN vol. 3 & 4 together. The pace basically doubled since it started. I still don't quite understand why they do that though. I really hope it's made with season 2 in consideration or something. Because the tone shifts significantly between LN vol. 4 and LN vol. 5.

Season 2 also introduces the ultimate fujo bait, but that seems so important that they decided to go with the EP24 side-story to introduce him just a bit earlier.
