A slice of life manga titled 'Pan de Peace!' is getting a TV anime adaptation. It looks like it has food themes in it. Plot Summary: Quote:

Erm ... yeah. Hafta agree that I don't think it would work well as a full length series though.

Fun so far. As always, I like it when there is just about no conflict. Everything is all happy, happy. The simple character design/drawing was right on (fuwafuwa, punipuni).
And I'd forgotten this was starring Kido Ibuki, so when I liked Nanami's seiyuu's voice work and found out is was Kido-san, I was pleased, since I think of her as one of my favorites -- despite how few good roles she's had.

You were not expecting a Shakespearian solilquy or a Noh play performance or something, I hope? (Though if it did suddenly show up that would be quite a surprise.) Still, I get what you mean, I think. That being said, it is being faithful to the source material, so that's a check box in its favor - err, in my book at least.

When I think about it, the more that french bread is getting stronger as a weapons, the less edible the french bread gets.
I wonder how is she going to handle the bread if she can't use it as her food anymore? |
