in the color image of vol 6 you can see a great red WIVERN(i refuse to call it dragon since in that image it have no arms) maibe is that

No this dragon is Great Red according to Nomon.

Just read chapter 4 the pacing is aweful. Feels like I'm reading a shitty shonen about friendship, good and evil. Didn't have this impression while reading the LN meeh.

But if you already feel like this about the manga, wait till you see the anime.

well at least this novel is for shonen.
well the diffrent with other normal shonen manga or novel this novel have lots ecchi scene.

I don't know. I think I'd classify High School DxD as a romantic comedy with ecchi, harem, and shonen battle elements. But I guess that's just because my main reason for reading is the budding relationships between Ise, Rias, and the other members of his "harem". Those who like it for the fighting probably see it differently. I will say this - in my experience the best series are those that you clearly can't define with just one genre like this one.

i agree with you about can define with just one genre.
well the point that make me like this series is ise .
he foolish,sukebe,true with his desire to make harem + he do some action to make it happen not like seitokai no ichizon that only messing aroud with word but no action.
sugisaki ken is my idol but he show almost not any action to make all the girl fall for him.
he just want make all the girl happy.

Well, I think that HSDxD should be considered as more "seinen" than "shounen" though, because of its, hum, rather daring contents. Also, I consider it as Romance-centered because, frankly, if it only contains the battle content, it would be mediocre. However, it's the romance and character developpment that puts my hooked on.

I still think it's shounen- kissing, nudity and boobs grabbing are shounen materials. Graphic sex and rape are not, if they do added those in the future, I guess it'll be seinen I guess.

idk, Ai Yori Aoshi was seinen and it's a lot tamer than this series
