Is it just me or I never realized how much of a beauty Historia is until I saw OVA 3.
Also with how determined Eren is when he wanted to rescue her is lighting up a Eren x Historia in me.

A very optimistic estimation would be that Fall 2015 would probably be the earliest possible time a 2nd season could air, but it will probably be even later.

I assume the manga is a monthly release? I guess I should go read where the anime left off then..... And one last question, are the OVA's anime original or also part of the manga?

Regarding the OVAs: The first one (illse's notebook) was part of the manga, while the 2nd and 3rd ones were not. The upcoming: "A choice with no regrets" OVAs originate from a VN spin-off.

Hi all, I have a very vague, well maybe not vague, question and really wondered what you all thought. You'll probably think it's nothing but here goes.
Ok, so I decided to watch this little beauty of an Anime a few months ago on Netflix and instantly I was hooked. I absolutely loved the art style and the seemingly traditional animation style but, mid-way through the season the style changed distinctly to what seemed to my untrained eyes be much more computer generated. I still thought it was awesome and cool and exciting but I so very much preferred the 1st half animation, it just seemed that much more epic. My question is, am I just being silly or is it something lots of people picked up on and what are your thoughts/preferences? I don't know that much about animation but yeah, this is what I was wondering! Thanks for your time |

The animation style never changed throughout the course of the series. It was always 100% digital and it never looked anywhere close to being traditional animation. I really have no idea what gave you that impression.

Ok well I didn't mean traditional but something definitely changed. It may have been digital all the way through but the characters expressions and how they were drawn definitely seemed to be different. I can't quite explain it and was hoping someone would just say "yes they used a wider scale of artists" or something. Or they changed to a quicker method of animating to save time with development. I know I can see a difference...
