Seems interesting from the trailers but everywhere I go ppl say the books that the movie is based on sux.
This is one of those movies that gets caught up in release hell. I remember this being advertised when I went to see RIPD in theaters. It looked interesting, but mediocre and predictable.
The original books feel more like Harry Potter crossed with Grimm's fairy tales, so when you get a film adaptation that looks like that I can see why people are pissed.
