I just saw the whole Nyanx2 Clip today and let me just say I wish that we were able to see the full version of the Diamond Crevasse track it was very beautiful, and very much like the character.

With both the Northern Cross, and the Anata no Oto track I wish that neither received any 3-D animation. They looked so much better animated.

The entire Nyan Clip seemed more like something you'd get from a DVD or Blue Ray special rather than as something that should stand alone. Though I do love the Diamond Crevasse track this selection doesn't have enough "new" bits in it to actually make me justify buying it it is after all only 30 minutes long. Now if this came together with an album or the movie then I could see myself buying it but besides that *shakes head*.

The Diamond Crevasse segment is definitely the highlight of the this collection. In my opinion the most well thought out and executed segment. I like that it shows a bit more of how galaxy would look like inside.

Iunno, from what's on there, it totally doesn't look like it's worth the money @_@ So much recycling of old scenes, too little reanimating and/or revisions...

God, the Northern Cross video was trying to destroy my speakers via excessive scratching noises.

Very enticing visually, though. The Diamond Crevasse one is also very well done. I'll have to check out the others when I find the time.

I think Diamond Crevasse, Koi no Dogfight, and Northern Cross were my top 3 (in no particular order)

I actually made part of N.C my avi...Shame I'm semi-terrible at making Gifs. Photoshop needs to give me back my ImageReady.

PS- now all i need is a script/subs to make sure I'm listening to/mentally translating the interviews correctly (My japanese is super basic)

I have seen the Macross Frontier Nyan Nyan Clip collection and thought it was very good. Just wondering if any fansub groups have picked up this? I ask just because in the Nyan Nyan Clip collection I would like to understand what's been said.

Eh, not quite. It sounds like the return of the MMD-style animation used in Northern Cross and Anato no Oto (and animated Sheryl's face horribly).
