Besides, some of the artist might be performing songs appearing in an Anime or they could've done a song used as an OP or ED before, and you can check out their other material you might have not heard of.

I read a thread at a jpop forum about buying a vcd of this special at a store in SF. I forget the site, but you might want to ask this question at jpop forum, like say http://www.jpopmusic.com/forums/ make sure to search their posts before you post a question, since it might have been answered.
