(CR) Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara (season 3)

As usual, Erina's chest stands out this episode, kinda looks like a butt though

Why can't she fold her arms around her chests like a normal big boobed person?

Well, salvation complete. Erina has now demonstrated that Souma and all of her other friends have managed to open her up and given her the inner strength to stand tall and tell her father to shove it. And at the same time they've managed to fully break through her anti-creativity mentality.

In any case, while I really like Erina as she is now and hope she remains this way, I must say that regardless of the author's intent I still cannot ship these two. They're rivals, not potential lovers. There are some cases where characters manage to be both, but in this case they fit better as being JUST rivals.

Ok, FIRST of ALL, they should have gotten other seiyuu to voice the younger Joichiro, Gin and Nakamura, they sounded SO OFF!

One thing I only just now noticed watching today's episode was that what Senzaemon told Joichiro and Dojima right before he recommended Joichiro leave Japan to find himself ("Great talent will one day turn on itself") is the exact same thing Dojima said to Hayama after the Autumn Elections.

And now we need to learn what happened when joichiro met soma's mom, what happened to her and where she is now, and if the yukihira surname came from her

A shame they cut out the joke that had Urara introduced with a title card Kawashima Urara (Brainwashed Version).

At least the moment Soma pulled out the Soba card was hilarious.

They changed the order by showing the result of Isshiki's match first. Well, it's better to show the result of Souma's match in the season finale after all.

One episode left, maybe another season covering the rest of the Regiment will be announced at the end.

I've pointed this out before, but Souma and Erina are roughly the same age, so while Joichiro was busy preparing meals for Erina, we're sure Souma was somewhere else learning to cook from ... his mother presumably.

Incidentally, yes the final match of the first bout ended off screen in the manga as well. It wasn't because the anime team ran out of time.

7/10

Stupid adults bullying a group of kids, though super delicious food makes them give in.
Yeah, that is not interesting. Oh, and you know that the protagonist will make it through anyways through plot armor and whatever.
So you got a predictable "story" with uninteresting antagonists.
Oh, and Hayama? Man, you suddenly become evil out-of-screen, come back in and go through your stupid story, and you are all fine in a couple of episodes? Screw your time wasting.
And then this Megane girl at the end is in such a high position and has this great background and she makes a simple mistake? Ok, so these big baddies actually aren't so great after all.

Anyways, what's sad is that should they get another season, they are still going on through this stupid evil dad arc.
That said, if you turn off your brain and just not think too deep about it, I think it is still worth a 7/10. To be honest, other than the incredibly boring adults bullying some kids crap on the train, the rest are rather forgivable.
