There is more to her backstory that made this particular case personal. But yes, it was pretty dumb.

I don't know why. It's a relatively faithful adaptation, it's got the core elements (boobs, guns, bikes), but I agree it lacks something.

they not really good as in highschool of the dead. and the fanservice are just kinda weak.

I find Mikoto preaching to Chikage that her reasons for killing bad guys is wrong, just plain stupid. I'm killing bad guys for justice, your just killing the same bad guys for revenge, that's totally wrong. Even though both of us are just killing people we have absolutely no legal authority to be killing in the first place. It's like please, get off your high horse woman. Perhaps there's more to it that wasn't mentioned, but I just had to roll my eyes this episode.

But then I already thought it was pretty dumb two episodes ago when they go to kill that guy only to see someone else, Chikage, got to him first and instead of standing down and observing Mikoto charges in and tries to stop her. Ugh, what? Wasn't your job to come kill him anyway, someone just gave you a free ride and did your job for you. As Kirei would say, Rejoice!

I think my biggest problem with this show right now is that they introduce these characters and elements but don't really give them time to develop. I believe this is only one cour so I can understand that many things probably had to be cut, but with some shows I don't feel it, but with this one I definitely feel like I'm missing something.

I think you're projecting Mikoto's flaws on the show.

When in truth is just Mikoto's flaws and only hers and in the manga is even more annoying at that leashing her frustrations on the MC even though she admits being in the wrong.

Well for some reason this episode was a little bit better than all thre previous episodes, BUT when I see the QUALITY on some scenes like the fight ones and those awful girl designs I remember why this is one of the worst adaptations this season.
